You will be a part of the Data Science team, which produces the search index for all the website’s images (content). We use Computer Vision and NLP models to retrieve names, dates, and relationships from various sources, such as Censuses, Birth Certificates, and Newspaper Articles.

One of the teams delivers their models to our team as Python packages through a Model Repository. We create and operate data pipelines in AWS, using Terraform and Python to retrieve images, process them through models, and return the extracted data as JSON messages. After gaining new knowledge, you will be responsible for learning our deployment pattern and taking ownership of creating and operating several new pipelines.

In a partnership with one of the global consulting enterprises, we are seeking a skilled GASS Administrator to manage and maintain a legacy BMC Remedy–based system and its supporting infrastructure. This role involves system administration, troubleshooting, and application maintenance across Windows servers, MS SQL, and C# web components. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, hands-on experience in system management, and proficiency in the Lithuanian language due to legacy documentation and interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

BMC Remedy (Version 7.1, 2007 – Legacy) Management

• Manage and maintain user accounts.
• Provide troubleshooting and end-user support.
• Perform configuration changes and updates as required.

Windows Server Management

• Edit and maintain Bash scripts.
• Update and configure application integration files.
• Handle general Windows Server administration tasks.

MS SQL Management

• Execute and modify basic SQL queries.
• Perform simple data entry and editing operations through queries.

C# Web Development

• Support and maintain the existing web-based application UI.
• Implement small updates and enhancements to improve functionality.

Critical Requirements:

• Fluency in Lithuanian – essential for reading and maintaining legacy code, documentation, and UI elements originally developed for Lithuanian Telecom.
• Ability to communicate effectively with system users, some of whom have limited English proficiency.
• Strong technical understanding of legacy systems and willingness to work within existing infrastructure.
• Attention to detail and responsibility for maintaining system stability and data accuracy.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Experience with BMC Remedy or similar ITSM tools.
