    About the role

    We’re looking for a fullstack engineer to help us build and scale our real-time TTS API. While the initial version is about to launch, we’re just getting started β€” and there’s a long list of interesting and challenging problems ahead. You’ll join a small team with a founder mindset and a deep care for developer experience and customer success.

    We may have been pioneers in AI voices, but we’re now competing in a fast-moving space. To win, we’ll need to deliver a world-class product, with performance, reliability, and user experience at its core.

    We mostly work in Python but reach for other tools when needed.


    What you might work on

    Depending on your strengths and the needs of the product, you could dive into:

    • Integration with model-serving engines (vLLM or SGLang)
    • Serving multi-model deployments in Kubernetes with Ray Serve
    • Observability using SaaS products like VictoriaMetrics and open-source tools
    • In-house systems for testing model output quality β€” fully automated and human-in-the-loop
    • FastAPI-based client-facing APIs, backed by Postgres
    • SDKs and docs powered by Fern
    • Frontend (React + Cloudflare) for onboarding, billing, and API playground
    • Analytics to guide product iteration

    About the role

    We’re looking for an engineer to help design and code the systems we use to train and deploy AI models.

    We care more about what you can do than your title or years of experience.

    The current codebase is mostly a PyTorch-based monolith that has grown organically over years.


    What you might work on

    You won’t do all of these at once β€” part of your job will be to prioritize and sequence the work:

    • Build a system to support processing and then training on large amounts of data stored in S3
    • Design modular, composable model interfaces β€” e.g., DAG-style composition, DRY config, not requiring unused dependencies, separable training and inference code
    • Support complex training schemes β€” e.g., dataset mixtures that change during training or training models to extract features for other models
    • Ensure that we always know how each model was trained and on what data
    • Support internal teams like a product partner: understand their workflows, build for them, teach them, and iterate based on feedback

    You won’t train models, deploy them, or run inference β€” but you’ll build the systems that make all of that easy, reliable, and consistent across environments, with minimal opportunity for human error.


    What we’re looking for

    We don’t expect you to have experience with all of our tools and techniques β€” what matters is how you think, how you build, and what kinds of problems you want to take ownership of. You might be a good fit if:

    • You have strong software engineering skills and value simplicity and clarity in code, configuration, and documentation
    • You have experience training deep learning models in PyTorch and debugging performance issues with them. Ideally, you have experience with distributed training
    • You understand the performance characteristics of object storage systems like S3
    • You have experience with Ray
    • You have experience with workflow management systems like Temporal
    • You think about invariants and making systems safe by default
    • You would enjoy turning complex, fragile workflows into something clean, modular, and reproducible
    • You’re eager to learn what you need to do the job well β€” whether that’s infrastructure tools, ML workflows, or how our teams operate

    Requirements & Skills:

    • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Fintech, with a strong background in EMI, PSP, banking systems, and white-label solutions.
    • Familiarity with both B2B and B2C environments.
    • Experience in creating mockups and sketches for user interfaces.
    • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
    • Strong analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Proven experience leading third-party integrations and managing complex technical ecosystems.
    • Deep understanding of SWIFT payment systems and its role in global financial infrastructure (highly preferred).

    • Expertise in regulatory and compliance frameworks specific to fintech (e.g., PSD2, AML, KYC).

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of leading discussions at a senior level.

    • Craft and implement social media strategies to boost brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation on Instagram, Telegram, LinkedIn, Youtube;
