We're CreatorX.ai. We're building a tool that helps people create amazing videos using AI. Our platform can generate entire videos from a simple prompt, pulling from both AI-generated imagery and real-world photos, and publish them directly to YouTube.

We're a small, product-focused team, and now we're looking for our first marketing person to help us grow.

Salary is expected to increase as revenue increases. In addition to the salary, the compensation package will also include equity (company shares). 

What You’ll Do

• Full-stack development: Contribute across backend (Python, Supabase, AWS/Cloudflare) and frontend (Next.js/TypeScript).
• Product ownership: Work end-to-end on features - from idea → design → implementation → deployment → iteration.
• Infrastructure & scale: Help build reliable pipelines for AI model integration, video rendering, logging/monitoring, and performance optimization.

• Experiment & iterate: Prototype new AI-driven workflows, test different user experiences, and optimize based on feedback.

You’ll be the go-to developer for building and managing a portfolio of high-traffic e-commerce storefronts on WordPress/WooCommerce and Shopify. From crafting pixel-perfect themes to writing custom WordPress plugins and Shopify Liquid templates, you’ll own the front-end experience—and the PHP that powers it—while partnering closely with designers, project

Key Responsibilities

Theme & UI Development

• Build and iterate responsive WordPress & WooCommerce themes in

PHP/HTML/CSS/JS.

• Craft performant Shopify (Liquid) themes and maintain existing

themes.

• Ensure cross-browser & cross-device consistency, accessibility

(WCAG 2.1 AA), and Core Web Vitals performance.

Custom Plugin & App Work

• Design, develop, and maintain bespoke WordPress plugins (PHP,

MySQL, REST).

• Extend Shopify via custom sections, metafields, or private apps

(Node/PHP).

Environment Management

• Manage a growing fleet of WordPress Network (multisite) and

Shopify Plus stores—updates, security patches, staging→prod

deployments, localization, A/B tests.

E-Commerce Integrations

• Integrate third-party APIs (payment, marketing automation, ERP,

inventory, SSO).

• Build data flows between WooCommerce/Shopify and CRMs or

fulfillment partners.

Collaboration & Support

• Translate non-technical client requests into clear tasks and realistic

estimates.

• Partner with design & UX to ship beautiful, maintainable interfaces.

• Provide occasional pre-sales technical input to help scope new

opportunities.

Quality, Docs & Growth

• Create & maintain concise technical docs and “runbooks” for each

storefront.• Stay current on PHP 8.x, Gutenberg/FSE, Shopify& Woocommerce Editions, and emerging headless/Composable trends.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years front-end web development with production PHP.

Proven track record shipping WordPress & WooCommerce sites, including custom plugin development and WP-CLI workflow familiarity.

Hands-on Shopify theme customization (Liquid, JSON templates) and store

configuration; Shopify Plus a plus.

Strong grasp of HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, modern JavaScript (ES6+).

Solid MySQL query design and understanding of WordPress database schema.

Version control with Git and standard GitFlow or trunk-based workflows.

What is the purpose of this position?
We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Engineer (5+ years of commercial experience at least) with good knowledge of server and infrastructure parts for creating the project from scratch. This is a highly autonomous role — solo engineer working directly with the founders. You’ll define the stack, make architecture decisions, and ship fast.
This is a full-time position duration 6+ months.
