We're looking for an engineering leader who's already living this way — someone who has hands-on experience with agentic development tools and can help lead a team that's pushing the boundaries of what a small, focused group can deliver. You'll report directly to the CEO and have real authority to shape how we build.

What you'll build and lead

This isn't a "manage meetings and write status reports" role. You'll own critical product areas and ship alongside the team. Here's what's on the roadmap:

• AI-powered agentic workflows — Autonomous scientific agents that utilize Datagrok's plugins and integrations as tools.
• Automated testing at scale — Automatic scenarios using Playwright + AI, AI-driven bug reproduction and fixing, stress tests, unit tests, system health tests, plugin tests - everything integrated into CI-CD and managed by AI
• Platform evolution — Cross-application integration and eventing mechanicm, ClickHouse as an analytical backbone, high-performance computations
• Enterprise integrations — Databricks connectivity (ADBC/Arrow for 2–10x speedups), HuggingFace model integration, and dashboard importers for Tableau and Spotfire migrations
• DevOps and infrastructure — ArgoCD deployments, Docker image management, containerized dev environments, and OpenTelemetry observability across a multi-layer stack
• AI-powered knowledge graph — mapping source code, features, tests, docs, and Jira tickets to enable impact analysis and agentic development workflows across the entire codebase
• Process improvements - code reviews, better planning/outcome system, DX improvements, onboarding for new developers

What we're looking for

Must have:

• You've already adopted autonomous agentic development in your own workflow (harnesses, tool-use architectures, AI-driven testing, etc)
• 5+ years as a strong engineer who still codes. This is a hands-on position
• Experience leading a team (formal title matters less than demonstrated leadership)
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Dart; comfort picking up new languages fast. Our core stack is Dart and TypeScript, with C++/WASM, Python, R, Julia, and Matlab in scientific plugins
• Track record of delivering complex software products — not just managing people who do
• You see a problem, you fix it. You don't write a proposal about fixing it. You don't wait for permission
• Strong communication skills and fluent English — you'll work directly with technical clients at pharma companies and present to enterprise IT teams

Strong pluses:

• Life sciences, cheminformatics, or bioinformatics background (or genuine curiosity about this space)
• Experience building agentic AI systems — not just prompting LLMs, but designing autonomous pipelines, harnesses, tool-use architectures, or AI-driven testing frameworks

❗️This is not a classic PM role❗️ We are looking for an embedded or robotics engineer who grew into delivery leadership. You read firmware and C++ fluently, draft baseline architecture yourself, and talk to CV and hardware engineers as a peer. Your focus is technical delivery of systems where software meets hardware.
 

Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on engineering with a strong embedded component (firmware, MCU/SoC platforms, drivers, real-time systems, robotics) before or alongside a lead/PM role.
• Solid understanding of embedded constraints: real-time behavior, memory and compute limits, power, communication interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, CAN), hardware bring-up and debugging.
• Can independently turn high-level requirements into a solution architecture and technical decomposition across hardware, firmware and software layers, and defend it.
• Reads and reviews C/C++ confidently; Python for tooling, testing and integration.
• Understands ML/CV trade-offs on edge devices (accuracy / latency / compute / power). Deep CV expertise is not required.
• Has driven projects where software and hardware teams had to integrate and ship together.
• Uses AI tools daily (Claude / Cursor / Copilot).

What You'll Do

• Turn the Lead Architect's direction into system architectures, hardware/software decompositions and implementable tasks.
• Own delivery across workstreams (autonomous drone, turret control): planning, risks, reporting.
• Bridge embedded/hardware teams with CV/ML and ROS teams; own module integration and interface contracts between them.

• 5+ years of hands-on professional Data Engineering experience, with a strong track record of building and operating production-grade data pipelines and platforms

• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, including data modeling, ETL/ELT, distributed data processing, pipeline orchestration, batch and streaming workloads, and data storage

— Lead the two ongoing full re-architecture programmes of Market Data and OMS/EMS, including migration staging, dual-run and reconciliation strategy, transition criteria, rollback planning and delivery without interruption of the trading session.
— Lead and develop four Engineering Leads, including one-on-ones, goal setting, performance management, development plans, calibration of their teams’ performance reviews, compensation proposals, hiring and separation.
— Own delivery predictability across four teams, including planning, capacity management, delivery and quality metrics, and regular reporting to the Head of Engineering.
— Own the engineering bar of the direction, including coding standards, code review practices, definition of done, and technical debt management across the teams.
— Oversee production operations of the direction, including release management, SLA compliance, incident response, and post-mortem follow-through; coordinate the work of the development teams with L2 support.
— Act as the primary technical point of contact for business, product, design, QA and SRE within the Trading Platform direction: architecture, technical solutions, feasibility and implementation approach — how things will be built. Scope and priorities remain with the product vertical.
— Own the direction budget and technical roadmap, including headcount planning, vendor and infrastructure decisions within approved limits, and quarterly and annual goal setting.
 

Requirements:

— Production experience with low-latency, high-throughput systems — market data and/or order routing and execution — at a scale comparable to billions of messages per trading session and thousands of messages per second.
— Deep distributed systems expertise: consistency trade-offs, fault tolerance and failover, backpressure, state replication and recovery, determinism and replay, latency tail diagnostics.
— Proven experience leading a large migration or re-write of a system in production without business interruption, including dual-run, reconciliation and rollback strategies.
— С# or python or C++ at a level sufficient to read code, run design reviews and argue technical decisions on the merits with senior engineers. Writing production code is not part of the role.

The Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who combines strong technical leadership with exceptional people management and execution.

Мережевий інженер Wi Fi / Cisco ISE відповідає за впровадження та підтримку корпоративної бездротової інфраструктури і сервісів контролю мережевого доступу на базі Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE). Основний фокус ролі — побудова та супровід 802.1X/AAA (RADIUS) і розробка політик авторизації (розподіл доступу за групами користувачів/типами пристроїв/контекстом підключення) із застосуванням dACL та SGT.
