The Client is the UK’s leading fee-free mortgage broker. The role focuses on supporting the Client’s ongoing IT transformation and modernizing its technology and infrastructure stack. The primary initiative involves planning, designing, documenting and executing the migration of systems from traditional datacenter hosted infrastructure into a secure, automated and cost-effective Microsoft Azure and MS365 cloud environment.

Requirements

Solid experience with the following technologies and tools (must-have):

• MS Azure Expertise: Tenants and Subscriptions, Cloud Adoption Framework/ Azure Landing Zones, Azure architecture, Azure Entra ID (Enterprise applications, conditional access etc), Azure storage accounts, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure networking, and Azure performance, security and cost management.
• MS365 Applications: SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Intune.
• MS Exchange Online
• On-prem Infrastructure: Building and configuration of MS Windows Servers, Active Directory domain knowledge, Hypervisor virtualization management (ideally VMWare), Backup solutions (ideally VEEAM), and Infrastructure performance monitoring.
• Additional Technologies: Vulnerability Management, SIEM Technologies, PowerShell and Infrastructure As Code (ideally Terraform and Ansible).
• Excellent written and verbal communication (English language).

Desirable technologies and tools:

• SQL.
• Networking experience (Cisco switch, firewalls).
• Cisco Umbrella.
• Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure support.

Job responsibilities

• Enable Cloud technology adoption through strategy planning, design, and implementation.
• Lead Infrastructure strategy planning alongside the IT Operations Manager to ensure systems are fit-for-purpose and meet business needs.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert on Azure and MS365 applications, and support mentoring and development of other IT colleagues.
• Serve as a technical escalation point, collaborating with team members to resolve complex problems and provide root cause analysis.
• Enhance automation of cloud enablement tools, such as Infrastructure As Code, and participate in their design and evolution.
• Plan and implement system migrations from datacenter hosted infrastructure to the cloud.
• Create and review comprehensive technical documentation, including high and low-level designs, architectural statements, and standard operating manuals.
• Lead technical projects alongside project managers to define and meet critical timescales.
• Design and implement cloud storage and backup solutions.
• Provide third-line technical support on L&C IT infrastructure across on-prem, datacenter and cloud environments.
• Monitor system performance, costs, availability and functionality and take proactive or remedial action to prevent outages.
• Track asset lifecycle and participate in the replacement, retirement and decommissioning of assets.
• Assist in planning Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity playbooks, carry out testing and perform remedial work.
• Plan, monitor, and test system and data backups in line with IT policies.
• Monitor software versions, and plan and implement system upgrades or patches.
• Maintain a security-first mindset, follow best practices, and manage technologies to protect systems from internal and external malicious activities.

Description

The Client is the UK’s leading fee-free mortgage broker. Together with Globallogic, they are embarking on a significant digital transformation since they have recently acquired the source code for a market-leading Mortgage Management COTS (Commercial Off-The-Shelf) system and now are looking for a skilled Software Architect. 

The role focuses on providing architectural leadership, technical governance and hands-on guidance across multiple delivery teams. The overarching initiative involves driving platform modernisation, reducing technical debt and translating strategic direction into consistent, scalable, secure and maintainable software solutions. It requires collaborating with diverse stakeholders (such as Enterprise Architects, Product and DevOps) to support transformation programmes and ensure long-term technical sustainability.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced Software Architect to provide architectural leadership across our Engineering function.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for a Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our team and support the delivery of a high-quality web-based product.

Requirements 

 

• At least one year of experience in software testing of web-based applications.
• English proficiency at B1 level or higher.
• Basic understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
• Knowledge of HTTP request methods and status codes, and an understanding of how they function in web applications.
• Practical experience with browser development tools, such as Chrome DevTools.
• Deep understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities

• Participate in smoke and regression testing to verify overall system integrity and quality.
• Develop and review test documentation, including checklists, test cases, and acceptance criteria, to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Perform API testing using Postman to validate request and response behaviour and ensure backend functionality works as expected.

• Apply knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) throughout the product development process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-quality grant applications: problem statements, technology descriptions, market analysis, and competitor research.
• Manage and support already submitted grant applications and ongoing grant projects through their lifecycle.
• Conduct competitive analysis and prepare SWOT assessments for our solutions.
• Proactively collaborate with engineering and product teams to collect technical inputs.
• Build project budgets and maintain basic financial tracking for grant activities.
• Prepare technical updates, progress reports, and presentations for grantors.
• Draft cooperation documents (including with military units) according to internal standards.
• Work daily with Google Docs, Sheets, Slides.

• Manage grant platforms, track deadlines, and ensure timely submissions.

   

Requirements

• Ability to clearly describe technological solutions, problem domains, and practical applications.
• Experience in market and competitor analysis; ability to prepare SWOT.
• Proactive communication skills and confidence working with technical experts.
• Experience preparing budgets and maintaining financial documentation for grants or projects.
• Background in preparing technical documentation and cooperation agreements.
• Strong skills in Google Docs/Sheets/Slides.

• English level B2+.

   

Nice to Have

• Technical background or experience working in tech companies.
• Experience managing grants (Brave1, Horizon, USAID, etc.).

• Understanding of defense or dual-use technologies, or readiness to learn quickly.
