    About the role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer (Android) to join our product team and ensure the high quality of our mobile applications. You will play a key role in validating new features, improving testing processes, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers throughout the entire development lifecycle. 

     

    In this role, you will

    • Perform manual backend testing using API tools and databases
    • Conduct smoke, sanity, and regression testing of mobile applications
      Create and maintain test documentation, including test cases, bug reports, and checklists
    • Participate in SCRUM ceremonies and QA activities across all stages of the SDLC
    • Execute and validate A/B tests in collaboration with product and analytics teams
    • Investigate, analyze, and report bugs with clear and actionable details
    • Own functional testing of new features, acting as a QA feature owner

     

    It’s all about you

    • 2–3 years of experience in manual backend testing using API tools and databases
    • Cross-platform testing experience (iOS & Android)
    • Experience with proxy debugging tools (Charles, Fiddler, or Proxyman) 
    • Experience with test management systems (Qase, TestRail, or similar)
    • Experience working with databases

     

    Would be a plus:

    • Experience testing with MongoDB Compass
    • Marketing and analytics testing experience
    • Understanding or experience with A/B testing
    • Experience collaborating with Product Support teams
