About the Role:

As a Senior Backend (Java) Engineer, you will own the end-to-end development of core data processing services within our maritime intelligence platform. 
You will collaborate closely with data scientists, analysts and software engineers to design and implement scalable microservices and streaming solutions. Leveraging AWS, Spring Boot and Kafka, you’ll tackle technical challenges around high-throughput ingestion, low-latency processing and data integrity.

Role Overview:
You will be our first dedicated back-end engineer. For the first phase, the back end is you — working directly with founders  and one front-end engineer.

You will design the core services of the platform from a small existing foundation, and the decisions you make in the first six months are the ones every future engineer will inherit. Owning the back-end end to end — architecture, implementation, deployment and the pager;

Required Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of back-end experience and demonstrate proficiency in:

• Strong command of JavaScript fundamentals and extensive production experience with TypeScript;
• Solid understanding of design patterns, dependency injection and modular architecture;
• Proficiency with NestJS, or with an equivalent framework (Spring, .NET) plus a genuine interest in working in NestJS;
• Relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar): data modelling, indexing, execution plans, transactions and isolation levels;
• ORMs such as TypeORM, Prisma or MikroORM — along with an awareness of their limits and the confidence to write SQL when needed;
• REST API design, including pagination, versioning, error handling and backward compatibility;

About The Role:

We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our Business Layer & Portal team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our core business platform, managing critical integrations and services. This is a polyglot, AWS-heavy environment where your code will orchestrate workflows between Wildix cloud infrastructure and major business systems (SAP, Salesforce, Stripe, etc.). If you love serverless architectures, solving complex business logic, and working with both PHP and Go, you’ll fit right in.

What You Will:

• Develop and support core application services: Build, test, and debug backend features.
• Integrate with enterprise platforms: Build and maintain secure integrations with Salesforce, SAP B1 Service Layer, payment processors (Stripe), and tax/VAT engines (SureTax).
• Work on Serverless AWS infrastructure: Develop and deploy serverless event-driven applications on AWS using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, SQS, Route53, and AppConfig.
• Optimize Performance & Security: Enhance API latency, build robust caching strategies with Redis/ElastiCache, and protect system integrity through secure token-based and scope-based authorization.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with Customer Care, SAP, CRM, SRE, Sales, Marketing, CLASSOUND, and Accounting teams to build requested features and troubleshoot integration bottlenecks.
• Maintain documentation: Write and update API specifications and system design diagrams for seamless team collaboration.
   

What You Will Bring:

• 2+ years of professional backend development experience, with solid proficiency in PHP 8.x and/or Go (Golang).
• Practical experience building applications on AWS (AWS Lambda, SQS, API Gateway) and utilizing Infrastructure as Code (AWS SAM).
• Strong SQL skills (MySQL, MSSQL / SQL Server) and a solid understanding of cache-first patterns (Redis, Memcached).
• Proven track record of designing, testing, and debugging third-party API integrations (CRM, payment gateways, ERP systems, external web services).
• Experience in writing clean, testable code with robust unit/integration testing (PHPUnit, Go testing).
• Upper-Intermediate English skills (B2+) for daily collaboration in our international team.
   

Bonus Points If:

• Experience with Bref (PHP on AWS Lambda) and modern PHP API design (PHP-DI, FastRoute, Harmony/Laminas middleware).
• Direct experience with SAP B1 Service Layer, Salesforce REST API, or automated tax calculation services.

Description

We are looking for an experienced AI Agent Integration Engineer to help operationalize AI-driven workflows built with Copilot Studio. This role is focused less on prompt engineering and more on agent design, the underlying platform architecture, workflow automation, data modeling, integrations, deployment, and enterprise rollout needed to bring AI agents into production. The ideal candidate understands how to turn prototypes into reliable enterprise solutions

Requirements

Required:

• Python development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio (formerly Power Virtual Agents) or a similar tool
• Building and deploying custom AI agents.
• Proven experience taking AI agents from prototype to a live production environment.
• Experience distributing and managing enterprise agents inside Microsoft Teams.
• Experience integrating APIs and external services via Custom Connectors. 

Nice to have:

• Azure Functions or custom connectors
• Experience with Power Automate (specifically connecting flows to AI agents/chatbots) and Dataverse.
• Understanding of Power Platform ALM, environment strategy, and governance.

We are looking for a Middle Python Developer with a strong focus on backend development, high-performance APIs, and microservices to join the Dataforest team.
