Middle+ Node.js Backend Engineer (Cloudflare Workers)

e’re building a product that helps companies reduce costs when using AI (like ChatGPT / Claude).

👉 Instead of calling AI APIs directly, requests go through our system.
We optimize and compress them, so businesses spend less on tokens.

The system is built on Cloudflare Workers (edge computing) — fast, scalable, and designed for high load.

🚀 What you’ll do

• Build backend logic using Cloudflare Workers (Node.js / TypeScript)
• Work with Cloudflare D1 (serverless database) and Hyperdrive
• Improve performance, latency, and cost efficiency of API requests
• Develop a system handling real-time, high-volume traffic
• Participate in architecture and technical decisions

🧠 Requirements

• 4+ years of backend development experience
• Strong experience with Node.js / TypeScript
• Hands-on with Cloudflare Workers
• Experience with Cloudflare D1
• Experience with Cloudflare Hyperdrive
• English level B1+

➕ Nice to have

• Experience with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Understanding of token usage / API cost optimization
• Background in B2B SaaS / API platforms / developer tools
