In role you will:

• Lead the QA team, providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support to ensure consistent quality practices across all projects.
• Define and continuously improve the QA strategy, including test planning, execution, automation, and quality metrics.
• Develop and maintain a test automation framework using Python, pytest, Selenium, pytest-bdd, requests, httpx, and Allure reporting.
• Actively contribute to writing, reviewing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure test coverage and reliability.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and QA infrastructure using GitLab, Docker, and Docker Compose, or any other relevant tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product owners, and project managers to create test plans, test cases, and acceptance criteria aligned with business goals.
• Establish and enforce QA coding standards, test documentation practices, and defect management processes.
• Coordinate and prioritize testing efforts across projects, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality releases.
• Monitor and communicate testing progress, risks, and quality status to stakeholders.
• Drive performance, integration, and regression testing, utilizing tools like Selenium Grid and custom setups.
• Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance test efficiency and maintainability.
• Manage and troubleshoot test environments and integrations between components.
• Participate in hiring and onboarding of QA team members when needed.
• Contribute to budget planning for QA resources, tools, and infrastructure.

Skills and experience you will need: 

• Strong programming skills in Python (must be highly proficient).
• Proven experience with test automation tools, such as pytest and Selenium.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, such as GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Docker Compose, or other relevant tools.
• Knowledge of RESTful web services and load/stress testing.
• Familiarity with pytest-bdd, requests, httpx, and Allure reporting.
• Understanding of Selenium Grid and performance testing tools.

Responsibilities:

• Lead by example: provide technical leadership and expertise within the field of Quality Assurance, Testing and Automation, conducting training and workshops
• Work as a Senior AQA and/or QA Team lead (Automation and Manual processes, depending on the project needs) on the project, including setting up and maintaining QA and AQA processes from scratch and leading the team of subordinates
• Identify areas of gaps in the Automation coverage process and work on implementing them in cooperation with the Development team
• Defining and monitoring Quality and Automation metrics (related to Regression, Bugs, Automation coverage KPIs)
• Maintain direct communication with the Client and the Client’s team regarding business goals and needs and make appropriate QA process adjustments

• 2+ years of experience with testing consumer-facing applications;

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Test Strategy & Execution: Develop comprehensive Test Plans covering Functional, Regression, Mobile, Database, and API testing across browsers and mobile devices/emulators/simulators;
• Test Automation Development: Create, optimize and maintain scalable front-end and API automated frameworks and test scripts using Playwright, Postman, RestAssured, and Detox using Typescript/Javascript and Java;
• CI/CD Integration: Implement automated test suites into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or other CI/CD tools;
• Test Management & Reporting: Utilize test management tools like Xray, Mira or Zephyr;
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and UX designers to refine acceptance criteria and ensure quality standards;
• Bug Triage & Prevention: Identify, document, and prioritize defects using Jira and advocate for preventive measures;

Requirements

• Solid Python or JS (to automate workflows in LangGraph, LangChain or with similar tools)
