QA Team Lead / Senior QA (Mobile and Web)

We are looking for a hands-on QA Lead / Senior QA Engineer to take ownership of quality across IT, data, and AI-driven projects.

This is a hybrid role combining technical execution and leadership responsibilities. You will be actively involved in testing activities while also defining QA strategy, guiding other engineers, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a fast-paced, client-oriented environment.

You will collaborate closely with developers, data engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to build scalable and efficient quality assurance processes.

Our Expectations

• Take ownership of end-to-end quality assurance across projects
• Define and implement QA strategy, standards, and best practices
• Perform hands-on testing (manual + automation)
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks
• Ensure quality of APIs, microservices, and data pipelines
• Validate data integrity and transformations (ETL / analytics systems)
• Participate in architecture and design discussions from a QA perspective
• Mentor and support other QA engineers (including freelancers/contractors)
• Collaborate with stakeholders in a client-facing environment
• Drive continuous improvement and automation-first culture
• Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Support releases and ensure production quality

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in QA engineering (Automation and Manual)
• Strong hands-on experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright) in Web, Mobile (critical)
• Solid experience in API testing (REST, GraphQL, Postman, etc.)
• Good knowledge of SQL and data testing (ETL, data validation)
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Understanding of modern architectures (microservices, cloud-based systems)
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to combine hands-on work with leadership responsibilities
• Strong communication skills (experience working with clients is a plus)
• Experience working in distributed or remote teams

• Experience with AI/ML or data platform testing
• Performance testing (e.g. JMeter, k6)
• Programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or Java)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in consulting or project-based environments
• ISTQB Certification
