• A Business Analyst with hands-on experience in the logistics domain, or

Responsibilities:

• Analyze complex business processes and translate them into functional and technical requirements
• Communicate with international clients to identify, document, and clarify business needs
• Facilitate discovery sessions and stakeholder interviews
• Document solution designs, business process models, user stories, and data flow diagrams

As a key member of the finance team within a global e-commerce membership organization, the Payments Analyst provides expertise and analysis in the realm of payments. Responsibilities include staying current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to payments. Additionally, this role analyzes payment data to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, the Payments Analyst develops and implements strategies to enhance payment processes, drive revenue growth, and improve the overall customer experience. The Payments Analyst actively engages in strategic discussions to analyze finance and payment needs, offering data-driven recommendations. This role is integral in shaping the organization's payment strategy.

What you'll do

Data Analysis

• Conduct in-depth payment data analysis to identify financial patterns, trends, and improvement opportunities
• Analyze payment data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for improvement or optimization

What we’re looking for

• 2–4+ years of experience in a highly analytical consumer, marketplace, fintech, or similar data-driven business
• Proven track record of delivering actionable insights using data
• Strong SQL skills for efficient extraction and analysis of data from complex datasets (must-have)
• Strong visualization skills in PowerBI (preferred), Tableau, Looker, or similar BI tools
• Experience with Python is a plus (willingness to learn is important)
• Familiarity with A/B testing and experimentation (experience with MAB is a plus)
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
• Nice to have: experience in payments, acquirer/processor/payment gateway environments, or high-risk merchant space
• Nice to have: experience leveraging AI tools to structure analyses, automate workflows, or support anomaly detection

Responsibilities:

- Provide analytical support throughout the development of new product features — from discovering insights and product ideas in data, designing the required technical logs and DWH tables, to presenting analysis results to key stakeholders;

- Work collaboratively with product managers and engineers to ensure the right data is generated and collected;

- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing dashboards and their underlying data sets;

- Monitor key metrics, and identify business trends;

- Present product and customer data-driven insights to product management and senior leadership — influence change with the outcome of your analysis and make recommendations to executives and team leaders;

- Lead deep-dive analysis that will frame product strategy and product roadmap decisions

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in an analytical role;

- Advanced SQL skills, ability to perform optimized querying involving multiple tables and subqueries;

- 3+ years of practical experience with BI tools (Looker/Tableau/etc), ability to leverage multiple data sources;

- Ability to work with a large amount of data, create reports, and recognize patterns;

 - Self-motivation, proactively going beyond the call of duty;

- The ability to work comfortably in a constantly evolving environment;

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;

- English language proficiency — B2 is the minimum.
 

Would be a plus also:
 

• A/B testing experience;
• Proficiency in Airflow for workflow orchestration;
