    • Scaling mobile engagement and monetization ( in‑app purchases, subscriptions, payouts)
    • Creating viral user loops and retention hooks

    As a Payment Product Manager, you will own the end‑to‑end payments experience. Also, you will have decision‑making freedom, the ability to design solutions from scratch, and the mandate to tackle complex challenges across conversion, global payment methods, fraud and risk, reconciliation, compliance, and scalability, shipping with speed, clarity, and measurable outcomes


    In this role, you will

    • Collaborate with international payment solution providers
    • Integrate new payment providers and methods
    • Set up a payment system to manage multiple payment methods, anti‑fraud, chargebacks, and analytic
    • Optimize payment pass‑through, chargeback, and fraud rates


    It’s all about you

    • 2+ years’ hands‑on experience with card payments in mobile apps
    • Ability to plan and prioritize a product roadmap aligned with business strategy
    • Strong competitor analysis skills
    • Experience running A/B tests end‑to‑end
    • Upper‑Intermediate English (B2) or higher
    • Experience negotiating with international payment service providers (PSPs)
    • Experience with top payment orchestrators
    • Proven ability to design payment systems that increase authorization rates while controlling risk

    Responsibilities 

    • Lead the design, implementation and deployment of large-scale mission-critical SaaS architectures, including: 
    • Reusable and configurable design patterns and microservices; 
    • Complex relational and non-relation database schemas; 
    • Complex Third-party API integrations; 
    • Responsive HTML5 web applications; 
    • Secure RESTful or SOAP APIs. 
    • Plan and estimate technical tasks in collaboration with team members and stakeholders. 
    • Promote and ensure adherence to software development best practices (e.g. DRY, POLA, TDD etc.). 
    • Guide teams through complex technical issues and challenges. 
    • Collaborate with QA to support complex testing. 
    • Assist with guiding and mentoring agile delivery teams from a technical perspective.  
    • Contribute to evaluating teams’ technical competencies and provide constructive feedback. 

     

    Knowledge & Skills 

    • Experience in system integration, both server side and client side. 
    • Proficiency with data and messaging formats, such as XML, JSON, CSV. 
    • Strong understanding of standard API communication protocols: XML-SOAP, REST. 
    • Experience in front-end web development including responsive design, media rules and breakpoints, CSS, SCSS, Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS. 
    • Proficiency in the HTML5 DOM and the WebSocket protocol. 
    • Strong knowledge of SQL and JavaScript / jQuery. Familiarity with Node.js and Python is a plus. 
    • Experience in database development, relational and document based, performance optimisation. 
    • Experience with low-code tools like Microsoft Power Automate, ServiceNow, Salesforce is welcome. 
    • Good understanding of different authentication methods: OAuth, JWT, maTLS etc.  
    • Familiarity with encryption and security methods: PGP, TLS, XML-DSig etc. 
    • Good understanding of the Linux Shell, SSH, SCP. 

     

    Profile 

    • Degree in Computer Science or a related field. 
    • Advanced English. 
    • Familiarity with business process analysis and design. 
    • Experience in using MS Excel, Word, Visio. 
    • Conscientious working style with emphasis on quality. 
    • Experience in risk management and/or in the financial services industry is a plus. 
    • Experience leading team of developers is plus.
