Fintech / Payments | UK & Europe
About the Company
We are an international payments company with more than five years of experience in the UK market, providing
payment solutions for international businesses.
At this stage of our growth, we are looking to welcome a Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO) — a
senior-level payments professional with deep expertise in payments and acquiring, who will become one of the
key drivers of the company’s future growth.
This is not a traditional sales role. The position combines business growth strategy, client and partner
acquisition, product development, and building an effective business function.
Key Responsibilities
• Define and execute the business growth strategy, identifying new markets, merchant segments, verticals,
products, and partnership opportunities.
• Attract new clients and strategic partners, leverage a strong professional network, and convert new
opportunities into tangible payment volumes and revenue.
• Build and develop relationships with key merchants, acquiring banks, PSPs, processors, and other players
across the payments ecosystem.
• Lead key commercial negotiations and drive opportunities from initial engagement through launch and
measurable business results.
• Understand market and merchant needs and work closely with Product and Technology to shape the
product proposition and develop new payment capabilities.
• Drive strategic initiatives cross-functionally with Product, Operations, Technology, Risk, and Compliance.
• Build and develop the business function, including teams, structure, processes, ownership, and
performance accountability.
Must Have
• Senior-level experience in payments, acquiring, PSP, fintech, or EMI, with a strong understanding of
merchant acquiring and the wider payments ecosystem.
• Strong track record in Business Development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion.
• Proven experience in acquiring new clients and partners and launching or scaling new commercial
initiatives.
• Strong understanding of payment products and the ability to connect market needs with product
development and commercial outcomes.
• Experience leading teams and building or scaling business functions, including organisational structure,
processes, ownership, and performance management.
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and consistently turn initiatives into
measurable results.
• Fluent English.
Nice to Have
• A strong existing network across the payments industry, including merchants, acquiring banks, PSPs, and
other strategic partners.
• Experience working with regulated, complex, or high-risk merchant segments.
• Experience in international and cross-border acquiring.
• P&L ownership or responsibility for the overall financial performance of a business or commercial function.
• Previous experience as a CBDO, CCO, Chief Growth Officer, Managing Director, General Manager, or in
another role with broad business ownership.
• Russian and/or Ukrainian language skills.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for more than a strong sales leader. We need someone who can see the business as a whole —
identify where the company should grow next, bring new business opportunities, clients and strategic partners,
understand market and product needs, and build the internal capabilities required to turn those opportunities
into sustainable growth.
As the business continues to grow, the role offers significant potential to expand both its scope of
responsibility and overall impact.

Why this role exists
So far, the founders have handled hiring and HR on top of everything else, and we've reached the point where that no longer works. Our biggest challenge is recruitment: finding exceptional security engineers. We need someone who will own hiring end-to-end and proactively find people others can't. Alongside that, you'll take over core HR processes such as performance reviews, onboarding, and retention, and keep them lightweight and fitted to our size.

What you'll do

Recruitment (about 50–60% of the role at the start)

• Rebuild our hiring process so it focuses on finding talent, not just moving people through stages.
• Own screening and HR interviews so that only strong, well-matched candidates reach the technical team.
• Source proactively: find new channels and communities where security talent lives, and don't wait for applications.
• Run hiring for non-technical roles (sales, marketing, operations) end-to-end.
• Clean up our candidate database and make it a usable talent pool.

People operations and HR

• Run lightweight performance reviews, onboarding, and payroll coordination with our accountants.
• Help us keep key people happy and growing.
• Run the everyday people experience: work anniversaries, holidays, and team events, done with care.

Employer brand

• Help build Iterasec's reputation as a place where strong security engineers want to work, through content, community, events, and university ties.

What we're looking for

• 2–4 years in recruitment, including at least 1.5 years in IT or tech companies.
• A track record of closing hard technical roles (security, DevOps, senior engineers, or other niche profiles) through active sourcing, not only inbound applications.
• Sourcing skills: LinkedIn, professional communities, events, and referrals.
• Ability to assess candidates beyond the CV and spot real talent early.
• Experience setting up at least some HR processes (performance reviews, onboarding, engagement), not only following existing ones.
• Comfort working as a one-person HR function in a small company: you are both the strategist and the executor.
• Fluent in Ukrainian and good English (B1+).

Nice to have

• Experience in cybersecurity, IT services, or other niche technical hiring.
• Employer branding or recruitment marketing experience.

What we offer

• Competitive salary
• Social package (paid vacation and sick days, sports and learning budget, English lessons, medical expenses compensation)
• Real ownership: you shape the function from scratch, with direct access to the CEO.
• Professional, low-bureaucracy culture: a small team of strong specialists, clear internal processes, and quick decisions without layers of approval.
• Meaningful domain: you'll work with some of the best security engineers in Ukraine, in a niche where finding and keeping talent really matters.

N-iX is looking for Senior/Lead Data Engineer to join the team

About the client

Our client is a leading European online car marketplace, connecting car buyers and sellers across the continent. The platform serves over 30 million monthly users and operates across 18 countries, making it one of the largest and most trusted digital marketplaces for vehicles in Europe.

About the role

We are looking for a Data / Analytics Engineer to support the client team. The role sits close to the data analysts and business stakeholders, with a primary focus on maintaining and extending the data pipelines and data models that power analytics and reporting. The core stack includes SQL, Airflow, Athena, AWS Data Lake, and AI-assisted engineering tools such as Codex.

The client is currently migrating away from DBT and Snowflake to the clients data platform. The destination cloud and data platform already exists and is operational, and the migration itself will be handled by a different team — so this is not an infrastructure or platform engineering role. Instead, we need an engineer who can understand analytics use cases, translate business requirements into robust data solutions, and work independently to get those solutions into production. Beyond the technical skills, we are looking for someone with a strong sense of ownership and engineering judgment: a person who does not simply execute a ticket or accept a blocker at face value, but actively clarifies unclear requirements, investigates problems, proposes alternatives when the obvious approach does not work, and involves the right people when decisions are needed.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve existing data pipelines, and build new pipelines and datasets based on analytics and business requirements.
• Design and maintain analytical data models, including fact and dimension models.
• Ingest and integrate data from different source systems into the AWS Data Lake.
• Build, deploy, validate, monitor, and, when necessary, backfill data pipelines.
• Partner with data analysts to understand their requirements and provide reliable, easy-to-use datasets.
• Clarify requirements with business stakeholders rather than implementing ambiguous requests as-is.
• Ensure data quality through appropriate validation and testing, investigating data and pipeline issues and taking ownership of finding pragmatic solutions end to end.
• Use AI-assisted development tooling effectively while critically reviewing and validating generated solutions.

Requirements:

• Hands-on data engineering experience building and operating production data pipelines, ideally within analytics-driven environments.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data modeling for analytics, including fact and dimension tables.
• Experience with workflow orchestration, preferably Airflow.
• Experience working with AWS-based data environments, particularly Athena and AWS Data Lake.
• Experience with data validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong sense of ownership and engineering judgment: comfortable working with incomplete requirements, proactively seeking context, challenging assumptions when appropriate, and looking for practical solutions rather than stopping at the first blocker.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills, with clear communication across data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience with data mesh architectures or working in a data mesh environment.
• Experience with marketplace, web/app, or digital analytics data.
• Experience with DBT and/or Snowflake.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Codex

Payment Analyst

We are looking for a Payment Analyst who will be responsible for tracking, calculating and reconciling all payment-related financial data.

The main responsibility of this role is to maintain accurate calculations of payment processing costs, refunds, chargebacks, alerts, PSP fees, reserves and settlements, and ensure that all payment-related expenses are correctly reflected in the company's financial reporting.

This role is similar to a financial accountant focused on payment processing.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with large amounts of transaction data, Excel / Google Sheets and reports from multiple PSPs and payment providers.

Experience with payment processing is a strong plus, but we are also open to strong financial analysts or accountants who are willing to learn the specifics of the payment industry.

This includes:

• Fixed transaction fees.
• Percentage-based processing fees.
• MDR.
• PSP commissions.
