What we expect from you

The Role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in building scalable systems and a deep interest in AI-powered applications.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role where you will design and build backend services, integrate AI capabilities, and develop intelligent, agent-driven workflows used in real-world production environments.

You will work closely with product, AI, and engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems and automation features.

What You Will Do

Backend Development

• Design, build, and maintain backend services using Java (Spring Boot) and Python
• Develop scalable APIs and microservices for data-intensive applications
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability
• Design efficient data models and handle complex integrations

AI & Intelligent Systems

• Implement and integrate AI-powered features into core products
• Design and build agent-based workflows for automation and decision-making
• Apply prompt engineering techniques to improve LLM outputs and behavior
• Work with modern AI frameworks to productionize intelligent systems

Cloud & Infrastructure

• Develop and deploy backend systems on AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Build resilient, scalable cloud-native services
• Contribute to system monitoring, logging, and reliability

System Design & Engineering Excellence

• Contribute to architecture, service boundaries, and system design decisions
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Ensure security, performance, and operational stability
• Continuously improve engineering quality and development practices

Collaboration

• Work closely with frontend, product, and AI teams
• Contribute to end-to-end feature delivery

Requirements

• 5+ years of backend software development experience
• Strong experience building and scaling backend systems in production

Core Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Solid experience with Python
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database design (PostgreSQL preferred)
• Experience building REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.)
• Proficiency with Git and modern development workflows

AI & Modern Development Experience

• Experience with prompt engineering for LLM-based systems
• Practical experience building AI agent workflows in production
• Familiarity with frameworks/tools such as:

• Experience using AI-assisted development tools, such as:

Requirements:

Must have

• 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
• Production AWS experience (EKS, IAM, VPC, RDS).
• Terraform — modules, remote state, multi-environment infrastructure.
• Kubernetes — production operations, Helm.
• CI/CD — building, maintaining, and improving pipelines.
• Linux, networking, scripting (Bash + Python or Go).
• Secrets management and security fundamentals (IAM, least privilege).
• Observability — metrics, logs, and alerting (Prometheus/Grafana or equivalent).
• AI fluency — actively uses AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) in day-to-day engineering work. Not just "aware of AI" — uses them to multiply productivity while applying engineering judgment to the output.

• Infrastructure as Code: Design and evolve Terraform modules for AWS (composite modules, accounts as code), and build a multi-environment foundation across non-prod / pre-prod / prod.
• Kubernetes: Operate and evolve EKS clusters — workloads, namespaces, resources, autoscaling, and network policies.
• CI/CD: Build, maintain, and improve GitHub Actions pipelines — faster, more reliable delivery with fewer manual steps.
• GitOps / Delivery: Manage Helm charts and ArgoCD for declarative Kubernetes deployments.
• Secrets & Access: Own secrets management, rotation, least-privilege access, and keep secrets out of code.
• Observability: Build metrics, dashboards, and alerting (Amazon Managed Prometheus + Amazon Managed Grafana), define SLOs, and improve incident response.
• Security & Networking: Manage IAM, environment separation, and secure access with Okta and Twingate.
• Databases (Operations): Operate PostgreSQL (RDS) and Redshift — configuration, backups, secret rotation, and operational reliability.
• Reliability: Drive production readiness, capacity planning, cost optimization, HA where it matters, and operational runbooks.

About the Role

The company is seeking a highly creative and experienced Creative Producer specializing in Playable Ads to join its dynamic team. This role is pivotal in driving user acquisition and engagement through innovative and high-performing playable ad experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mobile game development, a deep understanding of playable ad mechanics, and a proven track record of delivering successful creative campaigns. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end production of playable ads, from concept to execution, ensuring high quality and performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and development teams to brainstorm and develop innovative playable ad concepts.
• Manage external vendors and agencies, overseeing the production process and ensuring timely delivery.
• Conduct A/B testing and analyze performance data to optimize playable ads for maximum impact and ROI.
