Jobs at Djinni

About us

UAPP.AI is a product company. We build AI-powered mobile applications used by over 10 million people. The full product cycle stays in-house — from the idea to scale and monetization. Decisions are fast and data-driven, without bureaucracy.

The Role

We run a subscription product across mobile and web. Payments go direct, through our own provider stack — Stripe, Unlimit, Payable, Traspay, SolidGate, Checkout.com, ADN, Apple.

We are looking for a Head of Payments to strengthen the payments direction: onboarding new providers and products, domain compliance, fees, reconciliation and approval rate on rebills.

The role is hands-on: you work alongside the team, not only assign tasks.

What you will do

• Provider onboarding: new PSPs, plus new products with providers we already work with — applications via agents, merchant ID registration, entities
• Domain compliance: preparing the websites we submit for onboarding to meet provider requirements — knowing what has to be stated, how and where (terms, refund and subscription cancellation policy, pricing, product description, contacts, support) and keeping it current after underwriting
• Recurring and rebills: retry logic, soft/hard declines, payment-method update flows, reducing involuntary churn
• Approval rate: audit by GEO, provider and card scheme, routing and cascading priorities
• Commercial terms: negotiating fees and rolling reserves, auditing commissions to see where the money leaks
• Reconciliation and reporting: settlement reconciliation, payment reporting, cost transparency per product and provider
• Analytics: your own dashboards on payment metrics, built with AI tools

What we expect

• 4+ years in payments, at least 2 at Head / Lead level
• A portfolio of several PSPs: Stripe, SolidGate, Checkout.com, Unlimit and similar
• Merchant onboarding: applications, merchant IDs, underwriting
• Understanding of provider compliance requirements for websites: what has to be stated and where
• Recurring payments: rebills, decline handling, churn caused by failed payments
• Approval-rate and fee optimization — with numbers behind it
• Willingness to work hands-on and use AI tools daily
• English B2+

Nice to have

• Mobile subscriptions, IAP, web-to-app funnels
• Negotiating enterprise terms with Tier-1 providers

What we offer

• Fully remote, full-time
• A working stack and a team already running the direction — you join a live process
• Fast decisions without long approval chains
• A product with 10M+ users and a growing subscription business — the result of your work shows on the revenue chart
• Competitive USD-pegged compensation, reviewed on results

Hiring process

1. Intro call with the recruiter
2. Call with the CEO
3. Offer

What We're Looking For

We are looking for a Senior IT Systems Administrator to be a foundational pillar of our IT organization. This is not a ticket-closing role. We need a proactive owner who can build and manage the technology ecosystem that empowers our entire company. You will have the autonomy to design, implement, and refine the systems and processes that make our organization more secure, efficient, and productive.

You will be the go-to expert for our modern, cloud-native tech stack, including Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira, Jamf, n8n, and AWS.If you thrive on automating processes, solving complex challenges, and building reliable, scalable IT systems, this role is for you.

What You'll Do

• Plan & Strategize: Help shape and maintain the roadmap for our corporate IT infrastructure. Develop clear policies and repeatable processes for identity management, device security, application access, and IT support.
• Administer & Automate: Serve as the lead administrator for our core SaaS/IaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Okta Jamf, Slack, Atlassian Suite). Use n8n, scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.), AI tooling, and native tool automation to eliminate manual work, streamline user lifecycle management, and integrate systems.
• Administering or enabling AI tools (such as Claude or similar) in a business setting, including SSO/SCIM provisioning, usage and spend management, and a security-minded approach to data access and integrations. Comfort using LLMs to speed up your own scripting, troubleshooting, and documentation.
• Secure & Optimize: Implement and maintain security best practices across all systems. Manage endpoint security and configuration with Jamf, enforce access policies with Okta, keep our office networks secure and performing well, and monitor our environment for performance and compliance. Help enable AI tools safely by managing access, usage limits, and connector permissions.
• Empower & Support: Build a great employee experience by providing reliable systems and excellent support. Act as a senior escalation point, create clear documentation, and support our IT service desk (Jira Service Management) by resolving complex issues, improving workflows, and automating recurring requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate & Deliver: Partner with Security, HR, Engineering, and other departments to understand their needs and deliver technology solutions that help them achieve their goals.

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator in a cloud-first environment.
• Proven experience managing core business platforms, including Google Workspace for productivity and Jamf for Apple device management.
• A strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently. You can take a high-level goal, break it down, and execute without constant supervision.
• Proficiency in administering the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Jira Service Management, Confluence), with a knack for creating clean workflows and automations that serve the business, not just the tool.
• A solid understanding of IT security principles, networking fundamentals, and cloud infrastructure (especially AWS basics).
• Hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management, including managing an IdP like Okta.
• Strong scripting and automation skills in a language like Python or JavaScript, and experience building workflows in n8n or a similar tool (Zapier, Workato, Kestra). You default to automating a task rather than doing it twice.
• Practical experience with office networking, including firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, and DNS/DHCP, and monitoring it with tools like Datadog.

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Bonus Points For:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in a DevOps culture.

About EVIQO

EVIQO is one of the fastest-growing smart EV charging brands in the US residential market, serving customers across the US, Canada, and Europe soon.

We are already among the Top-5 market leaders in the US in our segment and continue scaling rapidly.

Our mission is to build a category-defining EV charging brand that competes with major players like Tesla, ChargePoint, and Autel.

Our core product is a premium Level 2 smart home EV charger combined with a mobile app and software platform that allows users to monitor and remotely control charging, manage and optimize energy consumption, automate charging sessions, and reduce electricity costs.

With up to 50 Amps of charging power, strong hardware positioning, premium customer experience, and a powerful D2C + Amazon growth engine, we are building much more than just a charger — we are building a scalable international brand.

We operate at the intersection of hardware, software, IoT, e-commerce, D2C, and international growth.

Who We're Looking For

We are looking for a regulatory analyst or legal professional, not necessarily a licensed Canadian lawyer. Legal reviews specific to Ontario and Quebec will be handled by external legal counsel. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of the Clean Fuel Regulations (CFR), experience drafting and negotiating contracts in English, and the ability to drive the program through to a successful launch.

What you'll do

Partnership with our credit-monetization partner

• Close the open points of the monetization services agreement with outside counsel: security

over our credits and proceeds, arrangements with the partner's lenders, parent guarantee,

credit-risk triggers, statements and payments.

• Run the partnership after signing: station and data submissions, credit creation cycles,

reconciliation of statements, payments, notices and deadlines.

• Monitor the partner's credit position against the agreed triggers and act when one is hit.

CFR compliance and structuring

• Master the CFR rules for EV charging credits: who creates credits (charging-network

operator or charging-site host), registration, quantification, use of revenue (s.103) and

revenue reporting (s.125).

• Structure the program so credits are created on the right basis, including ownership and

installation rights for chargers in drivers' homes.

• Keep the compliance calendar and records ready for review by Environment and Climate

Change Canada (ECCC); track amendments and guidance.

• Brief and manage Canadian outside counsel (Ontario, Quebec) and tax advisors.

Driver program design

• Analyse in depth the driver programs already running in Canada: terms, ownership models,

rewards, payouts, data consent, warranty and exit rules. Recommend what we adopt and

what we do differently.

• Draft our program documents with outside counsel, in English and French: program terms,

ownership transfer and licence for chargers drivers already own, right-to-install waiver,

privacy and data notice, referral rules.

• Check them against provincial consumer protection, privacy (PIPEDA, Quebec Law 25),

anti-spam (CASL) and French-language requirements.

• Give product and marketing clear specs: onboarding steps, how consent is captured and

stored, activation date, which claims we can make.

• Build and maintain the unit-economics model: credits per kWh, credit price, partner fees,

driver rewards.

What you bring

• 5+ years in legal, regulatory or business-development roles where you drafted and

negotiated commercial agreements in English.

• Readiness to learn an environmental-credit market or a regulated energy program: the CFR,

a low-carbon fuel standard (British Columbia, California, Oregon, Washington), carbon

markets or utility programs.

• You read regulations down to the definitions and formulas, and turn them into clear

decisions and documents.

• You build and explain a spreadsheet model of volumes, prices and fees.

• Fluent written and spoken English (C1 or higher).

• You work independently in a small team, write decisions down, and lead outside advisors

rather than wait for them.

Why Join EVIQO

• Work in a fast-growing international product company.
• Make a direct impact on business growth.
• Freedom to take ownership and implement ideas.
• Competitive compensation and growth opportunities.
• Fully remote work format.
• Working schedule: 10:00–19:00 (Kyiv time), including a 1-hour lunch break.
• 15 working days of paid vacation per year (available after 6 months of employment).
• 5 paid sick days without medical certificates.
• Sports and professional development compensation after successful completion of the probation period.

Job Description

• 4+ years coding experience in Python along with experience in scripting languages.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in software QA and test automation.

Experience with RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), native SQL

• Experience with API testing (API smoke, regression, and end-to-end tests, including behavior-driven frameworks (Gherkin/ Cucumber/ behave or similar) and structured payload/ response validations (JSONPath, XML/ schema validation))
• Experience with backend testing (Solid understanding of backend and service testing, with a focus on performance, scalability, and security)
• Experience working with and configuring CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
• Experience with Kafka, Kinesis or similar streaming systems

  Experience with Linux.

• Shifted working hours 12pm till 8pm EEST timezone

  Nice to Have:
• Experience with agentic software development.
• Experience with Ad-serving protocols (VAST/VMAP, OpenRTB) or willingness to ramp quickly — most test scenarios validate VAST XML and OpenRTB bid/response structures directly)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services for deploying, testing, and monitoring applications in cloud environments.
• Exposure to browser-based UI test automation (Playwright, Cypress, or similar)
• Comfortable reading server-side code (Java or similar) to support root-cause analysis, even when not authoring in that language.

Job Responsibilities

• Be responsible for designing and implementing build and test infrastructure, creating and enforcing good engineering practices, and evaluating product quality for various external and/or internal products
• Work on problems in a number of areas, including application performance.
• Build out our automated testing infrastructure to help us build reliable, scalable, high-quality products and services
• Participate in design and implementation of test infrastructure to support building and moving services into a Continuous Deployment environment
• Conduct research and create Proof of Concepts on new testing technologies/tools/concepts
• Design test strategies by analyzing and dissecting complex heavily integrated software systems
• Work collaboratively with fellow SDETs and developers to design, build and maintain a scalable, maintainable and flexible automation test framework
• Investigate root cause of issues to assist with finding the most comprehensive and robust solutions
• Collaborate closely with product, project and development teams to identify and resolve technical, business, and process related issues
