Business Analyst (FinTech / Accounting, ERP)
Hi! Tallium is looking for a Mid+/Senior Business Analyst with strong accounting domain expertise to join a new enterprise project.
About the project
A new enterprise accounting & ERP platform built from scratch on an "accountant-first" principle: a rule-driven posting engine generates the General Ledger from operational registers, so every number in a report can be traced back to its source document. The first phase covers core accounting, AR/AP, inventory, payroll, banking and financial reporting.
What you'll do
- Act as the accounting domain expert, working directly with the client's CFO and finance team
- Turn accounting concepts (posting rules, control accounts, close process) into clear, testable requirements
- Model processes (O2C, P2P, reconciliation, period-end close) and financial data structures
- Specify posting rules, account mapping, validations, approval flows and access / SoD rules
- Manage MVP scope and priorities together with the PM
- Prepare acceptance criteria and test scenarios with QA using sample transactions
- Run client workshops and discovery
Who we're looking for
- 4+ years as a BA, System Analyst or PO
- 2+ years on accounting, ERP, core banking or other financial systems projects (a background as a functional consultant, accountant, controller or financial analyst is a big plus)
- Strong knowledge of double-entry accounting: CoA, GL, journals, sub-ledgers, trial balance
- Hands-on understanding of O2C, P2P, period-end close, bank reconciliation and financial statements
- Familiarity with multi-currency, VAT / withholding tax and financial controls (audit trail, maker-checker, SoD)
- Solid BA toolkit: workshops, BPMN / UML / ERD, Jira / Confluence, user stories and specifications
- Understanding of integrations and APIs, Agile experience on mid-size or large projects
- Advanced English
Nice to have
- Experience with ERP / accounting systems: SAP, NetSuite, Dynamics 365, Odoo, Xero, 1C / BAS, etc.
- Experience with posting engines, sub-ledgers or event-based accounting
- E-invoicing / tax fiscalization experience
- IFRS / GAAP knowledge or a finance / accounting degree
- Bank integrations (MT940, CAMT.053, ISO 20022), basic SQL
What we offer
- Interesting, influential projects and long-term cooperation
- Flexible schedule, remote or hybrid work
- Individual growth plan, development budget, workshops and training
- Stable salary and planned reviews
- 21 vacation days, 10 sick days, all public holidays off
- Medical insurance
- Corporate English and team building
