ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Technical Application Support Engineer to provide backup coverage for our platform and related audience workflows. This is NOT a primary feature development role. 

The person will act as a technical backup and first responder when the Europe-based team is unavailable, helping India and US teams investigate issues, validate system behavior, check logs, inspect API/database state, and escalate with clear technical context when deeper engineering work is required.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide backup technical support for internal API and related workflows
• Investigate production and staging issues using API responses, logs, metrics, Kafka state, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL
• Understand and trace the core system flow related to external platform integrations
• Investigate why entities failed to create/update, synchronize, or retrieve reports correctly
• Troubleshoot platform-specific issues (Facebook/Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
• Validate common token/auth issues including expired user tokens, missing permissions, and platform account
mapping problems
• Use Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, Kafka metrics, and database queries to support investigations
• Follow runbooks for safe operational checks and simple remediation steps
• Document findings clearly and escalate with enough context for engineering teams to act quickly
• Work closely with teams in India, Europe, and the US

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years in application support, production support, technical operations, backend QA, SRE-lite, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP status codes, and backend request flows
• Hands-on experience reading logs and investigating production issues
• Practical experience with MongoDB and SQL/PostgreSQL for read-only investigation
• Basic working knowledge of Kafka or event-driven systems
• Familiarity with Kubernetes-based applications at support level
• Ability to use dashboards and observability tools such as Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, or similar
• Strong troubleshooting mindset with clear written communication in English

🧩 What You’ll Be Doing:

• Build the cold calling operation from scratch, including structure, hiring plan, and processes
• Hire, train, and manage callers, team leads, and QA as the team scales from 2–3 to 30–50+ people
• Design and optimize dialing strategy, number rotation, warm-up, and deliverability to maintain high connect rates
• Set up and improve lead qualification standards to ensure every lead is marketplace-ready and compliant

We are seeking a hands-on Tech Lead / Solution Architect to shape and scale our next-generation iGaming platform. This role blends deep technical expertise, architectural design, and leadership skills to ensure our systems meet the demands of high-volume, real-time, and regulated environments.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in building Monolithic, Microservices, and Event-driven architectures, including decomposition of legacy systems into scalable microservices.
• Designing and implementing high availability (HA), fault-tolerant, and load-balanced solutions for large-scale, high-traffic applications.
• Orchestration Engines: Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Camunda, Temporal) for process automation and distributed workflows.
• Strong expertise in designing scalable database schemas and managing both relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Redis) systems with focus on performance optimization and horizontal scaling, Rabbit, Kafka.

About the role

Until recently, quality was covered by engineers. Over the past year we've been building out a dedicated QA function, and now we're growing it. You'll join an existing QA on one of two products — or work across both.

The role is manual QA at its core: business logic, API behavior, data consistency, edge cases, regression before releases. We're not looking for someone to write automation frameworks, but we do care if you use AI tools to work smarter — generating test cases, parsing logs, breaking down requirements faster. That kind of practical boost is a plus.

The products

One is a payment aggregator handling real transaction volume across multiple regions and payment providers. The work here is about correctness: transaction flows, integration behavior, data consistency across systems, edge cases in financial logic. 

The second is an internal workforce management platform — scheduling, time tracking, payouts, role-based access, multi-location operations and ATS+job board functions. It's at an active MVP stage with lots of moving parts and frequent changes, so flexibility matters as much as depth.

Both run on the same stack: 

Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, TypeORM, microservices, Docker, AWS, CI/CD pipelines, provider APIs, external provider integrations. Devs use Jest for unit tests.

What you'll be doing

• Testing business logic, API integrations, and data flows — not just UI
• Writing and maintaining test cases, checklists, regression coverage
• Running smoke and regression checks before releases
• Logging and tracking bugs in ClickUp through to resolution

• Working with engineers and PM to clarify requirements and keep QA docs up to date

   

What we're looking for

• 2-4 years in manual QA on web products
• Real experience with API testing — Postman, reading Swagger, understanding what the backend is actually doing
• SQL / database validation: you know how to write queries and check data, not just look at the UI
• Experience with business logic that's genuinely complex — financial systems, SaaS platforms, integrations
• Comfortable reading logs (Kibana, Sentry or similar) to understand what's happening
• Ownership mindset: you decide what to cover, you follow things through, you don't wait to be told
• English sufficient for documentation and async team communication

Nice to have

• Experience with fintech, payments, or high-load systems
