    Requirements

    We are seeking an Embedded Systems Architect to lead the end-to-end architecture modernization of a health monitoring product based on an ARM Cortex MCU. The system performs continuous physiological data acquisition, on-device preprocessing, BLE communication with a gateway/bridge, and secure transmission to the cloud. This role is responsible for improving the embedded architecture, ensuring reliability in medically regulated environments, guiding firmware development practices, and collaborating closely with hardware, mobile, cloud, QA, and regulatory teams.

    • 10+ years in software engineering in the embedded space and cloud services space
    • Strong experience in bare-metal C on ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers
    • Deep understanding of RT constraints, interrupts, timers, DMA, power modes, and MCU peripherals
    • Expertise with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy)

    Job responsibilities

    The solution is expected to be API-first and integration-friendly, designed for enterprise-grade reliability, security, and performance. It will likely include modules such as partner and merchant onboarding, configuration and administration portals, payment orchestration and integrations, and analytics/reporting. The platform should be scalable and modular, allowing it to evolve over time and be broadly adopted across the wider ecosystem.

    You will work in a fully remote, globally distributed team, collaborating closely with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business stakeholders across different time zones.

    This role requires a high level of autonomy, strong product thinking, and the ability to operate in ambiguity. You will proactively shape requirements, facilitate discussions, and ensure design consistency across the product ecosystem.

    We are seeking an experienced Solutions Architect β€” DevOps to design, implement, and lead cloud-native and hybrid solutions across AWS and Microsoft Azure. This role bridges architecture, DevOps, and platform engineering, ensuring scalable, secure, and highly available systems while enabling CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and operational excellence.

    You will collaborate with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust cloud architectures and guide teams through implementation and optimization.
     

    Key Responsibilities:
     

    Architecture & Cloud Designural Design 

    •  Design end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging AWS and Azure services, including compute, storage, networking, security, and managed services
    • Define reference architectures, landing zones, and multi-account / multi-subscription strategiesEvaluate existing systems and propose architectural improvements aligned with business and technical goals.
    •  Architect hybrid and multi-cloud solutions with high availability, disaster recovery, and fault tolerance
    • Ensure solutions meet performance, security, compliance, and cost-optimization requirements
       

    DevOps & Platform Engineering
     

    • Lead the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
    •  Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Azure Bicep/ARM
    • Enable containerized and orchestration platforms using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS, AKS), and related tooling
    • Drive automation for provisioning, configuration management, monitoring, and deployments
       

    Security, Reliability & Operations
     

    • Implement cloud security best practices including IAM, network segmentation, secrets management, and encryption
    • Integrate DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and policy-as-code
    • Design observability solutions using CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana, and logging platforms
    • Support SRE practices, incident response, and operational runbooks
       

    Collaboration & Leadership
     

    • Act as a technical leader and trusted advisor to development teams and stakeholders
    • Review architectures and provide guidance on cloud-native patterns and best practices
    • Participate in technical decision-making, proofs of concept, and cloud migrations
       

    Required Qualifications:
     

    • 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture, DevOps, or platform engineering
    • Extensive hands-on experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure in production environments
    • Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
    • Experience designing and operating CI/CD pipelines at scale
    • Proficiency with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS)
    • Solid understanding of cloud networking, security, and identity management
    • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
       

    Preferred Qualifications:
     

    • AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect β€” Professional)
