What We're Looking For

• Solid Python experience, especially building web scrapers
• Familiarity with Selenium, BeautifulSoup, or Scrapy
• Some experience with Docker, Airflow, or other orchestration tools
• Active use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, etc.) with opinions about what works and what doesn't - we want to hear about your preferred workflows
• Strong code review instincts - you can spot issues in code whether you wrote it or an AI did
• A resourceful, problem-solving mindset - not afraid to dig into a messy site or debug a flaky scraper

Bonus Points For

• Experience with Grafana or Prometheus for monitoring
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and managing scrapers at scale
• Familiarity with CI/CD and Git workflows (we use GitLab)

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Middle/Senior) to help us improve the quality of a financial accounting system used by companies in the Swiss market.

Our product is a full-featured accounting platform used by trustees managing multiple companies, as well as individual businesses. It includes desktop (Windows) and web applications, with integrations such as bank APIs and tax systems.

This is not a “click-through UI testing” role — the system has complex business logic, so we need someone who can think critically, understand workflows, and catch issues before they reach production.

What you’ll do

• Perform manual testing of new features and existing functionality
• Design and maintain test cases, checklists, and test scenarios
• Investigate issues deeply and provide clear bug reports
• Work closely with developers to clarify requirements and edge cases
• Help improve QA processes (not just follow them)
• Contribute to automation where it makes sense

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in software testing (QA)
• Strong understanding of manual testing techniques
