Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Backend .NET Developer to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in .NET and cloud-based solutions (AWS primarily, with some Azure exposure) and will take an active role in defining architectures, setting up development processes, and ensuring high-quality implementations.
This role is more than just writing code—you’ll be involved in key architectural decisions, defining best practices, and collaborating directly with customer teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and develop backend solutions using .NET technologies in cloud-based environments (AWS/Azure).
- Define and implement best practices in software development, including CI/CD, testing, and security.
- Work closely with customers to understand business needs and align technical solutions accordingly.
- Optimize databases (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure scalability and high performance.
- Design and implement event-driven and serverless architectures, leveraging AWS Lambda, SNS/SQS, DynamoDB Streams, and similar technologies.
- Lead technical discussions and mentor team members as needed.
- Contribute to DevOps practices, including cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring.
- Ensure quality assurance through automated testing and rigorous code reviews.
- Actively participate in project planning, including requirements gathering, estimations, and architectural decisions.
- Ensure accurate time tracking for transparent client billing.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in backend development using C# and .NET (ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, etc.).
- Strong expertise in cloud-based architectures (AWS required, Azure is a plus).
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.).
- In-depth understanding of event-driven and serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, SNS, SQS, EventBridge, etc.).
- Strong grasp of modern software architecture principles (microservices, event-driven architectures, domain-driven design).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines).
- Proficiency in APIs, authentication & authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
- Ability to work independently, take ownership, and drive initiatives.
- Strong communication skills in English, as direct collaboration with customers is expected.
