Jobs at Djinni

About Our Client

Our client is a leading enterprise data platform company building an open, high-performance data lakehouse for AI and analytical workloads. The platform combines an intelligent SQL query engine, an AI-ready semantic layer, and an open catalog built on Apache Iceberg — enabling Fortune 500 companies across finance, energy, manufacturing, and logistics to unify, query, and govern data at massive scale across cloud and on-premise sources.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer for the connectivity stack of a large-scale data platform. The work spans three areas:

• Client connectivity — drivers and client libraries used by applications and BI tools
• Source connectivity — connectors to databases and data systems, including authentication, metadata discovery, and query/data pushdown, with certification and upgrade support
• Agent & service connectivity — tool interfaces and integrations for AI-agent access to the platform

Deep expertise in one of these areas is enough — you'll grow into the adjacent ones over time. This is a role for an engineer who cares about API and protocol stability, backward compatibility, and interoperability with the tools enterprises actually use. You will lead the design and delivery of substantial components, working within an established architecture alongside US-based engineering reviewers.

This is a systems-level, backend engineering role focused on drivers, protocols, and distributed services — not application development or CRUD services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of connectivity components — client drivers, source connectors, and service integrations — turning ambiguous initiatives into well-scoped, reviewable milestones
• Produce technical designs, explain architectural trade-offs, and surface compatibility, security, and delivery risks early
• Maintain backward compatibility and API/protocol stability; build compatibility, interoperability, and performance test suites
• Develop and maintain connectors for major BI tools, collaborating with the technology partners behind them
• Diagnose complex client/server, protocol, and distributed-system failures; drive root-cause analysis of customer-reported and escaped defects
• Improve diagnostics, logging, observability, and supportability of the connectivity stack
• Contribute upstream to open-source projects (e.g., Apache Arrow) where agreed
• Mentor engineers, participate in code and design reviews, and communicate progress and risks clearly across a distributed team

Required Qualifications

• B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of production software engineering experience
• Deep proficiency in Java or C++, and the ability to work effectively in another systems/services language
• Experience designing and debugging APIs, protocols, client libraries, or distributed services
• Strong fundamentals: data structures, concurrency, asynchronous programming, networking, and failure handling
• A track record of comprehensive testing — unit, integration, compatibility, and performance
• Experience with production CI/CD, release processes, and engineering quality controls
• Working knowledge of SQL
• Comfortable with AI-assisted development workflows — using modern AI tools productively while critically validating their output
• Clear written and verbal communication in a distributed engineering environment; English Upper-Intermediate or higher (B2+)
• Availability to work EU business hours shifted 2–3 hours later for daily overlap with US West Coast mornings

Desired Skills

• JDBC, ODBC, ADBC, or database-driver development experience
• Apache Arrow (including Arrow Flight)
• SQL engines, databases, or data platforms
• Source-connector development for databases, warehouses, or SaaS systems
• MCP or agent-tool integrations
• OAuth, OIDC, TLS, and enterprise authentication flows
• Cross-platform native build, packaging, and release experience
• BI-tool interoperability (Power BI, Tableau) and partner collaboration
• Observability and production diagnostics
• Open-source contribution experience

Details

• Engagement: Long-term contract
• Location: Europe (EU / EEA / UK), remote
• Working hours: EU business hours, shifted 2–3 hours later for daily overlap with the US West Coast team

About the Client

Our client is a leading enterprise data platform company building an open, high-performance data lakehouse for AI and analytical workloads. The platform combines an intelligent SQL query engine, an AI-ready semantic layer, and an open catalog built on Apache Iceberg — enabling Fortune 500 companies across finance, energy, manufacturing, and logistics to unify, query, and govern data at massive scale across cloud and on-premise sources.

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior SDET to lead the design of automated test frameworks and testing strategy for a large-scale distributed data platform. You will own the quality of the query engine, connectivity layer, and backend services end-to-end — from framework architecture through CI/CD infrastructure across all major clouds — and mentor middle engineers on the team.

This is a data-heavy, backend-focused role. We are not looking for web/UI QA engineers — the work centers on validating distributed query execution, data correctness at scale, connectivity drivers, and backend microservices.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and evolve automated test frameworks in Python / pytest for backend services, REST APIs, and distributed data components.
• Define testing strategy for new features and platform components — coverage, risk assessment, and quality gates.
• Own end-to-end, integration, performance, and regression testing covering SQL query execution, data correctness at scale, and platform APIs.
• Lead performance and load testing efforts with JMeter, including workloads over JDBC / ODBC / Arrow Flight drivers.
• Design and validate large-scale data testing scenarios — query plans, result correctness across heterogeneous data sources, metadata consistency, and behavior under high concurrency.
• Own CI/CD test pipelines in Jenkins — architect, maintain, and continuously improve.
• Provision and manage test environments in Kubernetes (GKE / EKS / AKS) across GCP, AWS, and Azure using Docker; drive automation and reproducibility.
• Investigate complex, cross-layer failures and drive root-cause analysis with engineering.
• Mentor middle SDETs, review test designs, and set quality standards across the team.
• Partner with US-based development leads on shift-left practices, testability, and release readiness.

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Programming: Strong proficiency in Python, including pytest, with deep understanding of OOP, software design principles, and test framework architecture.
• SQL & Data: Advanced SQL skills and strong understanding of relational and analytical data systems, including query execution internals.
• Data-intensive testing experience: Demonstrated experience testing data-intensive systems — query engines, ETL/ELT pipelines, streaming platforms, or analytical databases. Candidates with only web/UI QA backgrounds are not a fit.
• Testing experience: 5+ years in backend/system test automation, with demonstrated ownership of test strategy and infrastructure.
• CI/CD & DevOps: Solid experience architecting and maintaining Jenkins pipelines and test environments.
• Containers & Orchestration: Strong working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (running workloads, debugging pods, deploying complex environments).
• Cloud: Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud (GCP, AWS, or Azure); exposure to more than one is a strong plus.
• Version Control: Confident with Git / GitHub workflows and code review practices.
• English: Upper-Intermediate or higher (B2+) — daily written and verbal communication with a US-based engineering team.
• Availability: Able to work EU hours with a 2–3 hour shift toward US West Coast time to ensure daily overlap with the client team.
• Leadership: Prior experience mentoring engineers, defining test strategy, or leading a QA/SDET function.

Desired Skills

• Deep experience testing REST APIs and backend microservices at scale.
• Hands-on with distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark, Kafka) and MPP SQL query engines (e.g., Presto, Trino, or similar).
• Strong understanding of modern data lakehouse concepts, open table formats (Apache Iceberg), and data warehousing.
• Experience with data connectivity drivers: JDBC, ODBC, Arrow Flight.
• Performance testing with JMeter or comparable load-testing tools at production scale.
• Kubernetes on managed services (GKE / EKS / AKS) and multi-cloud exposure.
• IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Deep understanding of query plan generation, query acceleration / materializations, and metadata integrity in distributed data systems.
• Prior experience leading a QA/SDET function in a data-platform or database engineering environment.
Please note: We can consider only candidates currently residing in the EU, EEA, or the UK.

Level: Middle Engagement: Long-term contract Location: Europe (EU / EEA / UK), remote Working hours: EU business hours, shifted 2–3 hours later to ensure daily overlap with US West Coast (PST/PDT) mornings

SIMS 4 MOD DEVELOPER — NIMALU SIMS ™️

Remote · Part-time · Up to $600 USD per month
Apply at jobs.lighthousevoyages.com — do not DM, apply through the portal

THE BASICS
Hours: 20 hours per week, EST
Pay: Up to $600 USD per month, depending on experience
Paid on: The 5th and the 20th of each month, prorated
Location: Fully remote
Must have: The Sims 4 installed on a Windows PC with Storage Space
Start: ASAP

WHO WE ARE
Nimalu Sims is a Sims 4 studio run by a creator who's been playing since she was 12. We make mods, custom content and tools — from CAS to build/buy to gameplay nobody else has built yet — and we make them cozy. Our work is on Curse Forge, Patreon, Tumblr and TikTok, our Trait Generator runs free in the browser, and we have a Skool community and a Discord that grow with every release.

Until now one person has built all of it. We need a second pair of hands who can take a mod from idea to working package on their own, and keep the existing catalog working through every EA patch.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Build new mods end to end: mesh or clone, textures, package, tuning, strings across all locales
• Write tuning XML for interactions, buffs, loots, traits, aspirations, scenarios and lot traits
• Write Python 3.7 script mods where tuning alone can't do it
• Create custom content and recolors — swatch sets, material variants, catalog placement, thumbnails
• Fix what breaks after each game patch, and verify the fix actually worked
• Reproduce community bug reports and trace them through lastException.txt
• Keep everything base-game compatible unless there's no way around it

WHAT YOU NEED
• Published Sims 4 mods people have actually downloaded — this is not a role to learn on
• Tuning XML, fluently
• Python 3.7
• Sims 4 Studio, including the Warehouse tab
• Mod Constructor
• Blender, enough for object meshes and LODs
• Photoshop for textures and recolors, Canva for release graphics
• The Sims 4 on your own PC, with a machine that runs it heavily modded

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU STAND OUT
DBPF structure. S4TK or similar tooling. Animation tuning. Having maintained a mod through several patch cycles. Knowing why an object might only show with bb.showhiddenobjects on.

You will be tested on these. Make sure you're fully knowledgeable before applying.

THIS ISN'T FOR YOU IF
• You've never played or modded The Sims 4
• Your experience is tutorials, not published work
• You only want to build new things — half this job is keeping old things alive

HOW TO APPLY
1. Links to mods you've made — packages, scripts, CC or recolors. Two finished things beat a long list.
2. A piece of custom content you made yourself, and what was hard about it.
3. A short task: A custom interaction stopped appearing on chairs after a game patch. Walk us through the first five things you'd check, in order, and why.

The task carries more weight than the CV. If it's a fit, there's one call and a practical test.

Apply via jobs.lighthousevoyages.com — do not DM.

SIMS 4 COMMUNITY MANAGER — NIMALUSIMS

Remote · Part-time · Up to $500 USD per month
Apply at jobs.lighthousevoyages.com — do not DM, apply through the portal

THE BASICS
Hours: 20 hours per week
Pay: Up to $500 USD per month, depending on experience
Paid on: The 5th and the 20th of each month. Partial periods are prorated.
Location: Fully remote, work from wherever you are
Reports to: The founder, directly
Must have: The Sims 4 on PC — not console
Start: ASAP

THE SHORT VERSION
You already play The Sims 4 on PC, not console. You know why a .ts4script has to sit near the top of the Mods folder and what happens on patch day. You've managed communities before and you've posted across multiple platforms.

You won't be on camera. You will be in the game most days: testing mods before they go out, shooting the screenshots we release them with in GShade, looking after the people who pay for this, and getting the work in front of everyone who hasn't found it yet.

WHO WE ARE
NimaluSims is a custom content and script mod studio for The Sims 4.

We build things that don't exist anywhere else in the modding scene. Recent releases include a Holy Bible object with 110 hand-made covers in English and Simlish, a group Bible study system that gathers multiple Sims around a reader and gets them studying together, narrative choice cards that interrupt a quiet moment and ask the player what their Sim does next, plus faith traits, aspirations, lot traits and custom scenarios.

Everything ships base-game compatible. No pack dependencies unless there's no way around it, because a mod that needs four expansion packs isn't a mod most people can play.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS
Right now one person builds the mods, looks after 49K+ patrons, writes every post, answers every install question, takes the screenshots and handles the re-uploads. That worked at a smaller size and it doesn't any more.

Patrons are the ones paying for this to exist, and they should never be the ones waiting longest for a reply. That's the first thing we want fixed.

WHAT YOU'D OWN

1. PATREON MEMBERS — THIS IS THE PRIORITY
This comes before everything else on the list.

Patrons pay every month and they should feel looked after every month. You'd own their experience end to end: welcoming new patrons, making sure they can find and install what they paid for, answering their questions first and fastest, checking tier access is actually working, and telling us when someone is about to cancel and why.

If a patron is stuck, nothing else on this list matters that day.

2. GETTING THE WORK FOUND
Our mods need to exist where Simmers actually look for them. You'd create and maintain our listings on CurseForge, The Sims Resource and Pinterest — writing the descriptions, uploading the images, tagging properly, and keeping versions current when a mod updates.

A mod nobody can find is a mod nobody downloads.

3. POSTING EVERYWHERE ELSE
Publishing and scheduling across Patreon, Skool, Tumblr, Ko-fi, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X and Threads.

You'd write the copy, adapt each post to the platform it's going on, and keep the schedule moving. Video production stays in-house — you're publishing and captioning it, not filming it.

4. TESTING AND SCREENSHOTS
You play every mod before it ships, in a real save, with your own mods loaded — that's where the conflicts show up. Then you shoot the promotional images in GShade and edit them for the release.

5. DISCORD
Moderating it, keeping it warm, welcoming people in, and making sure nobody's question sits unanswered overnight. We'd rather be the small community where you always get an answer than the big one where you don't.

6. DOCUMENTATION AND SUPPORT
Release notes, install guides and troubleshooting a player can follow without knowing what tuning is. Then answering the same install question for the fortieth time as patiently as the first — most people who say a mod is broken have script mods switched off, or XML Injector missing, or a .ts4script buried four folders deep.

7. BUG TRIAGE
Reproduce it, collect the lastException.txt, narrow down which mod and which interaction, and write it up properly. A good bug report from you saves the developer an hour.

8. TRANSLATIONS AND RE-UPLOADS
Coordinating community translators and keeping the string tables straight — including leaving the {0.SimFirstName} tokens intact, because a translation that strips those breaks every notification in that language.

And watching the file-dump sites. When our mods get copied around, players end up on old broken versions and we get the bug reports for a file we can no longer fix.

WHAT A WEEK ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
Every day — Patreon first: new patrons welcomed, patron questions answered, access problems fixed. Then Discord. Then whatever came in overnight everywhere else.

Release weeks — Get the build early, play it, try to break it. Shoot and edit the screenshots. Draft the Patreon post, the Discord announcement, the install notes and the platform posts. Get the listings up on CurseForge, TSR, Tumblr and the other platforms. Publish and watch the first hour closely.

Patch weeks — EA pushes an update and something breaks. Reports arrive in different words describing the same fault. You reproduce it, collect the exception file, write it up for the developer, and post the honest holding message so nobody thinks they've been abandoned.

Ongoing — Keep the posting schedule moving. Keep listings current. Coordinate translators. Tell us what the community keeps asking for that we haven't built.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
By day 30 — Patrons are getting same-day answers. You're handling most of Discord without asking. You've shipped screenshots for a release.

By day 60 — Our mods are listed and current on CurseForge, TSR, Pinterest and the other platforms. Posts go out on schedule across every platform without being chased. Bug reports reaching the developer are clean and reproducible.

By day 90 — You own the community rhythm. Patron questions don't reach the founder. You're telling us what to build next because you hear it before we do.

HOW WE'D WORK TOGETHER
You draft, and posts go out once they're approved. The voice and the aesthetic matter, so we'd rather get that right together early than hand it over cold. As you settle in and the voice becomes second nature, that gets looser.

You'll have direct access to the founder. Small team, no layers, fast answers.

WHAT YOU NEED
• You love this game. Not "I've played it." You have opinions about the packs, you follow creators, and your Mods folder is bigger than you'd admit out loud.
• The Sims 4 installed on your own PC, with the packs you own. This job can't be done on a borrowed machine or a console.
• GShade, installed and running. You'll use it to test mods and shoot every release image. This one isn't negotiable.
• A computer that can run all of it — a heavily modded game with a shader on top.
• Photoshop and Canva. Editing screenshots and building the graphics that go out with every release.
• You've managed a paying membership before — Patreon, Ko-fi, Skool, a subscription community, anything where people pay monthly and expect to be looked after.
• You can run a multi-platform posting schedule without being chased, and adapt one piece of news to eleven different places.
• You can explain a technical thing simply. Walking someone through enabling script mods who has never opened their Mods folder is most of this job.
• You write clearly and warmly in English. Nearly everything you produce here is writing.
• You're comfortable representing any kind of mods community and speaking in its voice.

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU STAND OUT
Having published on CurseForge or The Sims Resource yourself. Experience running a Patreon from the creator side. A scheduling tool you're fast with. Basic Sims 4 Studio. A second language. Having handled a DMCA or re-upload takedown. Your own Sims content, however small.

THIS PROBABLY ISN'T FOR YOU IF
• You've played The Sims 4 on console but not on PC.
• You want to be the face of a brand. You won't be on camera here.
• You've never used mods and were planning to learn on the job. The community will know.
• You need everything spelled out. A lot of this is noticing what needs doing before anyone asks.
• Repetition frustrates you. You'll answer the same three questions forever, and doing it warmly every time is the job.

HOW TO APPLY
Send:
1. A community or membership you've run, and what it looked like when you started
2. Your Sims 4 setup — roughly how many mods you run, which creators you follow, and your PC specs
3. Three screenshots you've taken yourself in-game with GShade. If you've edited them, or made a graphic out of one in Photoshop or Canva, send that too — we want to see your eye.
4. A short task: pick any mod by any creator and write the release post you'd publish for it. 150 words. We want to see how you explain a technical thing to a player who just wants it to work.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
We read every application, and the task carries more weight than the CV. If it's a fit, there's one call — a conversation about the game and the community, not a quiz — and we'll ask for a short Loom video walking through your Mods folder, your graphics work and what you know about The Sims 4. We'll tell you either way.

Lime Vizio
Industry: High-Volume E-commerce (US & Canada)
Location: Remote
Schedule: Full-time, Los Angeles business hours(PST/PT)
Reports to: CEO & Founders

About us

Lime Vizio is an eCommerce company operating floral and gifting brands across the US and Canada. We’re looking for a CRM Email Marketing Manager to turn our customer base into a consistent source of repeat purchases and profitable growth.

About the role

You will own CRM and email marketing strategy, from identifying growth opportunities and planning customer journeys to evaluating results and driving improvements.

Your focus will be increasing retention, customer lifetime value, and revenue through relevant campaigns, segmentation, and automated lifecycle communications. You should be comfortable setting priorities independently and turning customer data into clear marketing decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the CRM and email marketing roadmap aligned with business goals, customer behavior, and seasonal demand.
• Build customer segments based on purchase history, engagement, lifecycle stage, and buying occasions.
• Plan and improve lifecycle journeys, including welcome, cart recovery, post-purchase, repeat purchase, occasion reminders, and win-back flows.
• Own the email campaign calendar, audience selection, messaging direction, offers, and performance.
• Maintain a prioritized testing backlog covering segmentation, offers, content, timing, frequency, and customer journeys.
• Run structured A/B tests, document findings, and turn results into actionable decisions.
• Track CRM revenue, repeat purchase rate, customer lifetime value, and the contribution of automated flows.
• Explain performance changes through campaign, flow, segment, and cohort analysis.
• Protect deliverability and customer trust through list hygiene, relevant communications, and monitoring of complaints and unsubscribes.
• Coordinate with creative, technical, and marketing teams to deliver campaigns and automation accurately and on time.

• Proactively identify opportunities, flag risks, and recommend next steps.

What we’re looking for

• Hands-on experience in CRM, email marketing, or lifecycle marketing within eCommerce.
• Strong understanding of retention, customer journeys, segmentation, and commercial marketing principles.
• Proven examples of improving repeat purchases, CRM revenue, or customer lifetime value.
• Ability to interpret campaign and customer data, assess attribution limitations, and distinguish meaningful improvements from surface-level metrics.
• Experience designing A/B tests and applying the findings to future decisions.
• Sound commercial judgment: balancing revenue, margins, promotional intensity, and customer fatigue.
• Ability to write clear briefs and evaluate messaging, offers, and calls to action.
• Ownership, attention to detail, and the ability to move work forward without constant direction.

Experience with a specific CRM or email platform is not a prerequisite. Strong marketing judgment, CRM expertise, and the ability to work effectively with technical implementation support matter most.

What success looks like

• CRM delivers measurable growth in repeat purchases and profitable customer revenue.
• Automated journeys generate a meaningful, growing contribution to CRM performance.
• Testing consistently produces useful insights and informs priorities.
• Reporting clearly explains results, their drivers, and recommended actions.
• Revenue growth is supported by healthy deliverability and customer engagement.
• You independently manage the CRM roadmap and take responsibility for agreed outcomes.
