Head of Studio

We are looking for an experienced Head of Studio to launch and lead a new independent game studio under the Gamzix umbrella. This is a unique opportunity for a product-driven leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to build a team, drive the development of high-quality slot games, and take full ownership of the studio’s success.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and lead an independent game studio from the ground up
• Take full ownership of the studio’s P&L, strategy, team formation, and product roadmap
• Drive the end-to-end development and launch of slot games: from concept and team assembly to release and performance tracking
• Hire, onboard, and manage a multidisciplinary team (art, animation, development, QA, etc.), closing key positions as needed
• Set and achieve ambitious KPIs for game quality, studio growth, and financial results
• Collaborate closely with the board (product, tech, and business leaders) for strategic guidance and product reviews
• Ensure the studio operates autonomously, making independent decisions and solving operational challenges (including hiring, contracts, NDA, payments, etc.)
• Analyze market trends, identify new opportunities, and define the studio’s product vision and strategy
• Maintain high standards of product quality and innovation, ensuring games meet or exceed Tier-1 provider benchmarks
• Oversee technical and operational aspects, including process setup, documentation, and integration with holding infrastructure
• Report regularly on studio performance, pipeline, and key metrics to the board

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a senior product, studio lead, CPO, or similar leadership role in iGaming (slots), social casino, or game development
• Proven track record of building and scaling teams or studios from scratch (ideally in game development)
• Deep product expertise in slot games: understanding of game design, math, mechanics, and market trends
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset: proactive, hands-on, and able to independently solve a wide range of challenges
• Experience managing P&L, setting KPIs, and driving for financial and product results
• Ability to hire, onboard, and develop high-performing teams
• Strong technical literacy: able to communicate with developers, understand technical processes, and ensure smooth operations
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working with international teams (EU/Ukraine preferred)
• English proficiency sufficient for business communication
