Year-end taxes and compliance are handled by an external CPA. Internally, the focus is on maintaining clean, current books during the year so management can rely on accurate numbers and the CPA can work efficiently at year-end.

Why We’re Hiring

Day-to-day bookkeeping and expense entry have been handled internally as a temporary solution. While this kept things moving, it is not sustainable and does not provide the level of structure or control we need.

We are now looking for a dedicated fractional accountant to own operational bookkeeping, systematise processes, and keep the books current on a predictable weekly cadence.

What You Will Do

• You will take ownership of the operational accounting workflow. This includes running a structured receipt capture and intake process, following up on missing information, and ensuring expenses are consistently coded and posted into the DMS by vehicle and by department.
• You will enter expenses on a fixed schedule, reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly, and maintain clean support schedules that feed into monthly reporting and year-end CPA work.
• An initial part of the role will involve cleaning up historical backlog from prior periods (catch-up reconciliations, clearing uncoded items, and aligning expenses properly). Once complete, the role transitions into steady-state weekly maintenance.
• You will also handle biweekly international payroll processing, including collecting inputs, preparing payroll runs, coordinating payments, and recording payroll entries correctly.

Your Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Budgeting

• Develop annual and quarterly budgets

• Compare planned vs. actual performance and analyze variances

   

Cash Flow & Liquidity Management

• Build and continuously update cash flow forecasts

• Monitor liabilities and ensure adequate financing when needed

   

Cost Management

• Recalculate product cost (including logistics from Italy/China, marketplace fees, packaging, and returns)

• Track profitability by sales channels and SKUs

   

Cost Optimization

• Identify opportunities to reduce expenses without compromising quality

• Prepare decision-making materials with calculated economic impact

   

Financial Meetings & Reporting

• Lead regular financial meetings with the CEO and key department heads

• Prepare management reports and financial analyses

   

Collaboration with External Partners (Accounting/Tax)

• Oversee the accuracy of financial records and calculations (via an external accounting firm)

• Resolve accounting and tax-related issues

   

Financial Analysis & Improvements

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Lead to design, implement, and manage our corporate IAM and operations security infrastructure from the ground up. Our goal is to implement a high level of automation in IAM and create a seamless yet secure operations environment using the latest technologies, ensuring that security does not slow down our workforce while maintaining robust safeguards.

Key Responsibilities 
 

Security Infrastructure & Engineering

• Design and build operations security infrastructure and IAM from scratch.
• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive security policies, strategies, and protocols to safeguard the intellectual property, and prevent unauthorized access.
• Deploy and manage security tools and solutions, with preference for open-source technologies where appropriate.
• Utilize MDM software with other products to ensure organization-wide device security compliance and enforce consistent protection standards across all endpoints.
• Establish and enforce remote work security standards and best practices for company owned and BOYD devices.

Identity & Access Management

• Design and implement access structure using identity provider.
• Manage user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows across all company tools and services.
• Automate access lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Control and audit access permissions to ensure principle of least privilege.
• Implement and maintain identity federation technologies across multiple platforms.

Google Workspace & Cloud Security

• Administer Google Workspace with focus on security configurations and compliance.
• Configure policies like Context Aware Access, LDAP, SCIM, and other controls within Google Workspace.

Security Operations & Governance

• Establish IT security operations (SecOps) best practices and standard operating procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments and vulnerability management.
• Define security metrics and KPIs; provide regular security posture reports.
• Advise leadership on security risks, compliance requirements, and remediation strategies.

Process & Documentation

• Develop and maintain comprehensive security documentation, runbooks, and policies.
• Streamline security-related processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Create and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
• Drive security awareness and training initiatives across the organization.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in IT security engineering or infrastructure security roles.
• Proven track record of building corporate security infrastructure from the ground up.
• Strong automation (for example n8n, getcakewalk, Slack workflows, jumpcloud,, etc) and basic REST API knowledge.
• Deep understanding of IT security operations (SecOps) best practices and frameworks.
• Strong engineering background with experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Google Workspace administration and security configuration.
• Expert knowledge of identity and access management, including user provisioning and deprovisioning workflows.
• Experience with SSO, SAML, OIDC, and identity federation technologies.
• Knowledge of Docker.
• Experience with IAM automation and orchestration.
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, etc.).

Nice to have

• Experience with automated user provisioning from Google Workspace to other services.
• Knowledge of zero-trust architecture principles.
• Basic knowledge of Typescript.
• Previous experience in a startup or high-growth environment.

N-iX is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a collaborative product team of around 8 engineers working on a complex, high-impact software platform. 

You’ll contribute across the stack, building scalable backend services and intuitive frontend experiences, while actively using AI-powered development tools to improve productivity and code quality. The team follows Agile best practices, values clean architecture, ownership, and continuous improvement. As an engineer, you’ll help to develop the platform that serves as an enterprise next-generation endpoint protection (EPP) + endpoint detection & response (EDR) solution that runs on Windows (as well as macOS, Linux, servers, etc.). It comes as a single, unified agent designed to prevent, detect, respond, and remediate cyber threats, including malware, ransomware, fileless attacks, and advanced persistent threats — all in real time.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services in Java
• Collaborate closely with backend, frontend, and QA engineers in an Agile/Scrum environment
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Integrate and work with APIs, data stores, and third-party services
• Use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., code assistants, testing tools, analysis tools) to improve delivery speed and quality

• Support production systems and participate in troubleshooting when needed

   

Requirements: 

• 5+ years of extensive software engineering experience
• Proficiency in Java
