The split is roughly 70 / 30:

• 70% test automation - Playwright (web) and Maestro (mobile) suites, API and integration tests, test data and environments, CI quality gates, turning production failures into permanent checks.
• 30% product engineering - you write real code in the same repos the team ships from: unit and integration tests next to the developers, internal tooling, and small to medium features or bug fixes.

This is not a manual QA role, and not script-writing in isolation. We are looking for an engineer who happens to specialise in quality: someone who can pick up a feature ticket, implement it with tests, and pass code review.

We build AI features and use AI tooling daily. You do not need to be an ML engineer, but you should already work this way:

• A repeatable way of giving agents context - instruction files, tool definitions, MCP servers, subagent roles - and the judgement to review output instead of merging it blindly.

• Audit the current platform interface and identify visual and UX inconsistencies across modules;
• Build a unified design system / UI kit (components, typography, colors, states, icons, table and form patterns) for the dev team to use as the standard;
• Design mockups and prototypes for new features and modules in Figma, keeping them aligned with the overall design system;
• Work closely with product/PM and developers so new features go through design review instead of being added ad hoc;
• Maintain and update the design system documentation as the product grows;

• Keep in mind this is a B2B product used by merchant/PayFac operators — clarity and efficiency come first, not just visual polish.

   

Candidate requirements:

• Experience in UI/UX design for complex B2B/SaaS products, ideally admin panels, dashboards, CRMs, or fintech/finance systems;
• Experience building a design system / UI kit from scratch or significantly restructuring an existing one;
• Strong Figma skills (auto layout, components, variants, style libraries);
• Understanding of UX principles for data-heavy interfaces (large tables, filters, multi-step forms);
• Ability to work independently;
• Portfolio required, with examples of complex/B2B interface work (dashboards, admin panels, CRMs);

About the Team

You will join an international Ukrainian–Israeli development team working on a data-driven product in the sports betting domain (African market), with future plans to expand into banking solutions.

Project Overview

The product collects and aggregates sports event data from multiple sources, analyzes client behavior, and distributes processed data to end users. The project is actively evolving, with a strong focus on automation and AI-driven decision-making.

Role Purpose

Both frontend and backend experience are highly important for this role. Only candidates with a .NET and Angular tech stack will be considered.

Responsibilities

Our client: US product company, an athletics management platform used by thousands of schools across the United States: rosters, eligibility, scheduling, officials assignment and payments. 

You will own features end to end, across the stack, in a small team where what you ship reaches production the same week.

Format and time zone

Fully remote from Ukraine. The team is distributed across US time zones, with its core on US Central Time. We ask for a few core overlap hours daily, in practice from around 16:00-17:00 Kyiv time. Everything else is asynchronous and written by default, with a low meeting load.

What you'll do

• Build user-facing features in Node.js/Express and React with TypeScript, from spec to production
• Own the full slice: API design, database schema changes, rollout and the monitoring that follows
• Work AI-first every day: funded frontier models from Anthropic and OpenAI, agentic coding tools, and repo-level convention files so generated code follows the team's patterns. The tools are used hard, the output is reviewed by humans, and PRs say what was generated
