Job Overview
As a Product Realization Engineer, you will work closely with local OEMs to coordinate and oversee the manufacturing process for our products being built in the UA. You will be a champion of quality ensuring our products meet the highest standards by working onsite with the manufacturing teams to set up the production lines and test fixtures. Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead our product realization projects in the UA from concept to launch.
- Work directly with OEM manufacturing teams to transition product designs from prototype to production.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets. Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement strategies to ensure project success.
- Develop test plans, protocols, and procedures to validate product functionality, reliability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Analyze test results, identify issues, and implement design improvements as needed.
- Provide technical support, resolve manufacturing issues, and optimize production processes to meet quality, cost, and schedule targets.
- Ensure smooth ramp-up and scale-up of manufacturing operations.
Be the primary liaison and communication link between the core teams in UA and Europe and the OEMs in UA.
Qualifications and Skills
- 3+ years of experience in leading manufacturing operations projects.
- Experience working with and delivering robotic systems, preferably UAS.
- Strong technical background in electronics manufacturing operations, and quality assurance.
- Basic Python scripting experience.
- Familiarity with ECAD and PCB design software, such as Altium is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to keep a global team fully informed.
- B2+ English level.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
