An international fintech company is looking for an IT Engineer (Linux).

It is a product international fintech company that has been working with global banks and funds since 2011. The company provides a low-latency gateway allowing instant transactions on global currency exchanges. They work with microwave transmitters and other hardware solutions to reduce signal processing time and offer its clients hosting services for automated trading equipment.

Responsibilities:  

- Handle all IT work (which includes FW, security, users VPN)
- Work with all teams in the global company but also for any other requests to facilitate connectivity, access, permissions to various applications.
- Work with the IT director on IT projects which includes new suggestions, overall design, reports are done via JIRA & emails.
- Work hand in hand with DevOps/Support people to solve all kinds of issues.

• Hands-on experience with Windows Server roles, domain services, and failover clustering;
• Strong skills in SCCM (MECM) for software deployment, patching, and compliance management;
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Intune and JAMF Pro for managing Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android;
• Solid background in Google Workspace administration with automation via GAMADV-X;
• In-depth experience configuring ChromeOS and Chrome browser policy enforcement;

About the job:

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Network Administrator to manage and maintain EveryMatrix’s network infrastructure alongside our current team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of networking technologies, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent skills on enterprise level network. The Network Administrator role is to ensure the stability, security, and performance of our networks, both on-premises and cloud-based.
 

What You'll get to do:

• The Network Engineer will be responsible of managing and maintaining Everymatrix’s enterprise network and the design of the network infrastructure.
• Install and configure network equipment: switches, routers, firewalls, access points;
• Configure VPN solutions: site-to-site, remote access, IPSEC and SSL;
• Network Maintenance: make sure all equipment is monitored, alerts are being sent, documentation is updated;
• Implement new network security and monitoring solutions;
• Support internal teams to handle network problems;
• Troubleshoot network related problems in a timely manner;

• Manage operational tasks and assure they are done within agreed SLAs;

What You need to know:

• Bachelor's degree in technical field(engineering, mathematics, IT);

• Excellent knowledge of routing, switching and network protocols (DHCP, ARP, dot1q, OSPF, BGP);
• Extensive experience on configuring and managing VPN solutions(site-to-site, Remote access, IPSEC, SSL);
• Previous experience on managing firewall devices;

• Experience with software defined networking is a plus;

• Solid experience with Linux administration (Ubuntu/Debian preferred).
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform).

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced System Administrator (Consultant) to help set up and secure our IT infrastructure. This role involves preparing and configuring employee laptops, establishing company-wide IT security standards, and building a reliable infrastructure to support daily operations.

This is a consulting role, paid per task or per hour, ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently and deliver strong results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, configure, and deploy laptops for new and existing employees.
• Install and configure operating systems, software, and security tools on employee devices.
• Implement endpoint security, encryption, and access management controls.
• Establish secure network configurations (VPNs, firewalls, etc.) for office or remote access.
• Develop and document IT infrastructure standards, best practices, and policies.
• Set up basic cloud infrastructure (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar) if required.
• Configure backup solutions for devices and critical company data.
• Provide guidance on ongoing maintenance and IT support strategies.
• Conduct basic IT security training for employees if needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a System Administrator or IT Consultant.
• Strong skills in Windows, macOS, and basic networking.
• Hands-on experience with laptop imaging, device management (MDM solutions), and security tools.
• Solid understanding of endpoint security, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Workspace).
• Ability to create clear documentation and implement structured IT practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and deliver work per task or hourly agreement.

Terms:

• Contract Type: Consultancy (not direct employment).
• Payment: Per completed task or per hour (to be agreed upon).

Requirements

• Relevant Linux/Unix Administration background

• Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless controllers

• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technologies

• Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.

Requirements

• At least 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer with a proven track record of managing and developing IT infrastructure. 
• Strong expertise in network technologies, including deploying and supporting core network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, IPSEC, LACP, DNS, DHCP, and authentication/authorization protocols. 
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining infrastructure and services in cloud environments, particularly Microsoft Azure. 
• Practical knowledge of deploying and managing Microsoft Services like Entra ID, Intune, Office 365, Defender, etc. 
• Proficiency in designing and implementing fault-tolerant solutions to ensure business continuity. 
• Advanced system performance diagnostics, analysis, monitoring, and logging skills using tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Graylog, and Kibana. 
• Solid understanding of backup systems, including configuration and maintenance. 
• Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate tasks and processes.
• Proficiency in using Infrastructure as Code tools like Bicepand Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates to automate cloud infrastructure.
• Understanding basic ITIL operation processes, such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, etc. 
• Azure certifications are highly desirable, but the primary focus is on expertise.
