- They need to be clear and concise communicators to ensure there is approval of the stakeholders for all major decisions and strategies.
- Create and Maintain Change Requests Associated with the Product: Predominantly an Operational task. The BA will gather and prioritise operational changes and include them within the Product Backlog for future sprint iteration.
- Define Acceptance Criteria for their Product: The BA must know what they want their product features to achieve.Having strongly defined acceptance criteria is vital to ensure
- that the Product performs to the expected standard. A/C's should always be confirmed with Stakeholders and will be used as a baseline for QA to test against.
- Gap Analysis: By comparing the current state of a business to the desired future state, The BA may identify gaps or areas for improvement. This helps in defining project objectives and goals.
- Change Management: The BA will help manage and support the changes brought about by their or BRO recommendations. This can involve developing change management plans, conducting training sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition to new processes or systems.
- Gather Functional and non Functional Requirements: The BA will ensure that all requirements are gathered and that they meet the Product Managers expectations.
- Verify Requirements: Once the requirements, functional and non functional, have been gathered from the Stakeholder the BA will confirm and agree that the requirements are fit for purpose and use.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience BA
