    The role

     

    You’ll turn raw ideas, scripts, and datasets into scroll-stopping videos for TikTok, YouTube (shorts + long-form explainers), LinkedIn clips, and product education. You’re fast, AI-native, and comfortable wearing mini-producer, editor, and motion designer hats.

    What you’ll do

    • Edit short-form (15–90s) TikToks/Reels/Shorts with strong hooks, captions, and pacing.
    • Cut long-form (3–8 min) explainers, product walkthroughs, and customer stories.
    • Post-production: color, audio cleanup, music/SFX, subtitles, thumbnail variants, platform exports.
    • Motion & simple animation: lower thirds, kinetic text, UI overlays, simple product motion.
    • AI-native workflows: speed up editing with AI tools (speech cleanup, transcript-driven edits, style transfers, b-roll generation where appropriate).
    • Packaging for distribution: titles, chaptering, end screens, aspect ratios, and metadata best practices.
    • Content repurposing: turn one flagship asset into multiple cuts for different channels.
    • Collab: work with our Content Marketer and Founder to test angles, hooks, and story beats.
    • Light asset management: maintain project files, templates, LUTs, and a shared b-roll library.
    • Quality + speed: ship fast, iterate faster—optimize for watch time, retention, and CTR.

     

    Nice-to-have (not required)

    • On-camera comfort for quick founder-style pickups or voiceovers.
    • Basic design (Figma/Canva) for thumbnails and YouTube covers.
    • Experience with product/UI animation (Figma → After Effects, or screen-record + polish).
    • Understanding of creator analytics (audience retention curves, A/B thumbnails).

     

    Tools you know (or learn fast)

    Premiere Pro / Final Cut / DaVinci Resolve; After Effects / Motion; Descript/Captions; CapCut; Runway, Topaz, ElevenLabs, Whisper, AutoSub or similar; Loom, Figma, Notion, Google Drive.
