    We are looking for a Design Project Manager to act as the primary liaison between our clients and the design team. In this role, you will manage and lead the design team throughout project lifecycles, from task creation to client presentations. You will guide the client, gather and validate requirements, and transfer critical information to the Development Delivery Manager. Key responsibilities include creating and managing feasible timelines, responding promptly to customer requests, and proactively managing risks to ensure successful project delivery. 

     

    We are looking for a Design Project Manager to join our in-house design-delivery team. You will be managing the client expectations while overseeing the solution's progress along with the team of interface designers. We are pursuing the following industries (but not limited to): Professional Services including Financial and Accounting; Digital Services: Human Resources, Remote work, Productivity related systems, Ecommerce, Logistics and Transportation, Healthcare and more. 

     

    Requirements 

     

    General

    • 2+ years of experience as a PM/PO/PD or client-facing BA / BSA 
    • You worked with design teams (agency, vendor or studio experience will be a huge plus) 
    • You know how to gather requirements in the way that is understandable for clients, design team, development team 
    • You hear the customer and able to find balance between client wishes and practical capabilities 

     

    Practical

    • Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) including project planning, goal setting, risk and time management, evaluation and allocation of the resources and more 
    • Advanced communication skills, experience of being primary point of contact for the client 
    • Can suggest UI/UX solutions when the designer is not available (e.g. on the client call) 
    • Experience in task & time tracking systems (we use ClickUp) 
    • Design creation and project flow understanding β€” it is important to us that you know how an interface is created and implemented 

     

    Soft

    • Strong organisational and analytical skills with high attention to details

    • Ability to independently maintain tasks, make informed decisions and take responsibility for them 
    • It is important for you to properly communicate and interact with people including making and receiving productive feedback according to nonviolent communication principles

    Written project cases from your previous experience will be a plus. 

     

    Languages:  

    • English: all of our clients speak English, so it is crucial for you to have at least Upper-Intermediate+ / B2+ level (IELTS or TOEFL certification will be a plus) 

     

    Will be a plus: 

     

    • Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of SAFe 
    • Knowledge of design process methodologies (Agile UX and Lean UX) 
    • Basic knowledge of HCD, UCD and other methodologies  
    • Experience in board collaboration and mind mapping tools (we mostly use Miro and FigJam) 
    • Basic knowledge of Figma functionality (we expect that you will be able to navigate, copy and move mockup elements, change UX copy) 
    • Ability to leverage routine tasks to GenAI but without obvious abuse 
    • Knowledge of SDLC 

     

    Responsibilities: 

     

    • Be the main point of contact between client and design team 
    • Manage a design team on a project, tasks creation, review and presentation to the client 
    • Leading the client (keeping in mind that the project ownership is on your side) 
    • Gathering requirements, helping clients to elicit them 
    • Validation of the project scope with the team and a transfer of information to the Delivery Manager 
    • Create and manage feasible timelines 
    • Timely response to customer requests 
    • Risk management
