    We’re looking for a talented AI/ML Engineer to help design and develop this engine. The role will begin as a specialized freelance project, with the potential to grow into a long-term partnership if it’s the right fit.
     

    Responsibilities

    • Architect and develop the foundation of our AI/ML engine.
    • Build and train models for:
      • Dish-level and restaurant-level recommendation systems.
      • Predictive analytics (guest behavior trends, loyalty forecasting, demand optimization).
      • Natural Language Processing (guest feedback, sentiment analysis).
    • Develop scalable data pipelines capable of processing large volumes of guest, restaurant, and transaction data.
    • Work closely with the product team to integrate AI capabilities into the existing SaaS platform (APIs, cloud deployment).
    • Apply MLOps best practices to ensure continuous improvement, reliability, and scalability.

    What you will do:
    β€” Lead the full cycle of establishing partnerships with Payment Service Providers (PSPs) and acquiring banks in multiple jurisdictions (EU, UK, US, etc.).

    β€” Prepare and manage corporate document packages (e.g., incorporation documents, shareholder/UBO structure) for onboarding with PSPs and banks.
    β€” Ensure successful onboarding and compliance approval with key platforms β€” Stripe and PayPal.
    β€” Maintain full compliance with KYC/KYB, AML, and jurisdiction-specific legal/tax requirements.
    β€” Analyze and monitor acquiring performance metrics, drawing business-relevant conclusions.
    β€” Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, collaborating closely with external consultants, legal advisors, and internal teams.
    β€” Act as a key liaison between the business and financial institutions, maintaining effective, professional communication.

    What we're looking for:
    β€” 2–3+ years of experience in fintech, payments, e-commerce within high-risk/subscription environments.
    β€” Proven track record of successfully opening MID accounts and passing compliance procedures with Stripe (essential) and PayPal (preferred).
    β€” Demonstrated hands-on experience with KYC/KYB, AML, and understanding of legal structures in the context of account onboarding.
    β€” Familiarity with card acquiring, including Visa/Mastercard flows.
    β€” Solid understanding of payment risk metrics and how they influence merchant account health and PSP decisions wiil be a huge plus.
    β€” Strong negotiation and networking skills β€” capable of engaging PSPs, bankers, and consultants effectively.
    β€” Proactive, independent approach to sourcing new partners and solving problems in dynamic, cross-border settings.
    β€” English: Upper-Intermediate+ β€” capable of managing business negotiations, emails, and documentation with international partners.

    Will be a huge plus:
