    Responsibilities

    • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using a microservices architecture
    • Participate in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
    • Support ingestion, processing, and analytics pipelines for large datasets
    • Take part in proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives to assess the viability of emerging tools and practices
    • Contribute to Front-end development using React
    • Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices

    We are currently looking for a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our team and contribute to building a scalable, secure, and reliable PKI certificate authority infrastructure that supports millions of users worldwide.

     

    The Site Reliability Engineer will work on a team of other SREs to build and maintain a secure, scalable, and reliable PKI certificate authority infrastructure. You seek to automate, instrument, and make data driven decisions. You will work with other teams to solve security requirements; maintain useful documentation; and resolve production issues through effective troubleshooting and debugging. You will work independently to solve novel issues and evaluate/implement new technologies. You will proactively identify and resolve deficiencies and cost savings measures with the platform. While very capable of working independently, you will also work with other team members to move through blockers quickly. The ideal SRE welcomes and gives honest feedback and incorporates this feedback into improving the quality of your work and the platform

     

     

    Responsibilities:

    β€’ Build and maintain tools to support a high-availability PKI platform.

    β€’ Automate infrastructure using Salt, Puppet, and Python.

    β€’ Operate and scale services with Consul, Nomad, and HAProxy.

    β€’ Troubleshoot complex issues across cloud, OS, and network layers.

    β€’ Collaborate across teams to meet security and operational requirements.

    β€’ Write and maintain clear documentation and runbooks.

    β€’ Continuously improve system reliability, performance, and cost-efficiency

     

    Requirements:

    β€’ 5+ years in SRE, DevOps, or related roles.

    β€’ Strong Python scripting and automation skills.

    β€’ Experience with PKI, TLS, HSMs, and security-first infrastructure desired.

    β€’ Familiarity with tools like Nomad, Consul, HAProxy, Salt, Puppet, Docker, and AWS.

    β€’ Solid Linux, networking, and monitoring experience (Grafana, Elastic, etc.).

    β€’ Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

    β€’ Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward.


    During the training period, you may need to work around 4 hours that match Phoenix working hours (Arizona time).

     

    After training, we just need: a few hours of overlap with the Phoenix team (for meetings or handoffs), and for you to work during their night time, which means your regular day hours if you're in Europe or a similar time zone.
