This is a hands-on R&D role: you work from research and prototypes to production on edge hardware, collaborate with software, and flight teams, and help shape how new CV/DL features are built and shipped. Responsibilities

Relocalization & navigation

• Design and develop satellite, map, and semantic navigation capabilities that improve the overall quality of our navigation

About the role

We're looking for a middle DevOps / SysOps engineer to take care of the infrastructure our product runs on: on-prem virtualization, network and VPN connectivity between sites, and the delivery pipelines on top of it. The team is small, so you get real ownership from the start — and room to grow into your own areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities

* Operate and develop on-prem virtualization: VMware ESXi + vCenter (clusters, resource pools, storage, patching and version upgrades)

Responsibilities

• Design and own backend services for the FSV Platform — API design, data models, and the pipelines behind orthophotos, 3D models and detections.

• 5+ years in software development.
• Strong Python (3+ years) with Django — this one is non-negotiable. Familiarity with Flask, FastAPI or Celery is a plus, but Django is what our platform runs on.
• Experience architecting compute-heavy systems: splitting CPU and GPU work, orchestration and queueing (Celery, RabbitMQ, Kubernetes, Ray or similar), batching, and the trade-offs around GPU memory and throughput.
• Solid AWS or equivalent, including GPU instances, large-media storage and cost control.
