We’re looking for an Accountantwho thrives on accuracy, loves structure, and is excited to own the day-to-day bookkeeping across multiple countries, currencies, and compliance standards.

🎯 Your Impact Areas

• Daily precision – Record daily transactions in Xero (sales, purchases, payments, receipts) and maintain clean general ledger entries.
• Documentation mastery – Review, verify, and archive financial documents (invoices, contracts, receipts) in full compliance with EU/Polish/Estonian standards — including supporting the preparation and processing of contracts for new contractors.
• Multi-currency magic – Ensure correct FX posting and reconciliation across EUR, GBP, PLN, UAH, and USD accounts.
• AP/AR clarity – Monitor vendor payments and client collections; maintain up-to-date aging reports and ledgers.
• Month-end excellence – Support fast and accurate month-end close, preparing basic P&L reports and reconciliations.
• Process improvement – Spot inefficiencies and propose automation ideas in bookkeeping and reporting workflows.
• Finance comms fluency – Communicate clearly with internal teams and external partners, translating numbers into insights and maintaining alignment across departments.

🧠 Your Superpower Stack

Work Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of practical accounting/bookkeeping experience, ideally in international or service companies.
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and working with foreign counterparties is desirable.

Education & Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional certification in progress toward ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage.

Core Accounting Knowledge

• Strong understanding of double-entry accounting principles.
• Experience with general ledger management, reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.

Software Skills

• Proficiency with Xero Accounting Software (must be able to manage day-to-day bookkeeping, invoices, reconciliations).
• Competence in Excel/Google Sheets for reporting and reconciliation tasks.

Documentation & Compliance

• Knowledge of requirements for supporting documents (invoices, contracts, receipts) under EU/Polish/Estonian accounting standards.
• Ability to review, verify, and archive financial documentation in compliance with statutory requirements.

Language Skills

• Good command of English - Upper Intermediate(B2)+.

Advanced Accounting & Reporting

• Knowledge of IFRS and international accounting standards.
• Experience with group-level reporting and consolidations.
• Familiarity with management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Technology & Automation

• Experience with ApprovalMax, Dext, Hubdoc, or similar invoice/workflow automation tools.
• Skills in Google Apps Script / Excel VBA / Power Query for automating reports.
• Familiarity with ERP systems or multi-entity setups.

Industry & Regulatory Experience

• Experience working in healthcare, therapy, or online services industries.
• Understanding of EU VAT reverse charge mechanism and cross-border services taxation.
• Previous work with multi-currency environments and payment providers (PayPal, Stripe, PSPs).

Language Skills

• Additional languages (Polish, Estonian, Ukrainian, etc.) to ease communication with local stakeholders.
