• Provide technical support for Cato Networks customers around the world.
• Own and manage customer issues and see problems throughout resolution.
• Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve customer issues, keeping a positive and “can-do” attitude.
• Be a focal point for the customer’s needs and become a trusted advisor with customers by deeply understanding their business and aligning their needs with our solutions.
• Act as a customer advocate internally while effectively collaborating with internal teams, including product management, engineering, sales, and finance.
• Track and monitor customer status and identify both areas of concern and growth opportunities.
• Be a part of building and expanding the company’s Global Support Services.

What requirements are important for this role:

— Experience in back-end development with Node.js (or Python/ Go) and TypeScript;
— Understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven systems;
— Experience with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL;
— Experience with database technologies (SQL and/or NoSQL);
— Experience in writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests;
— Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, etc.);
— Experience with React (Hooks) and TypeScript;

What requirements are important for this role:

-At least 1 year of professional experience with TypeScript, Node.js, express, nest.js;

-Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, preferred experience on MERN stack and next.js;

-Experience with Swagger and/or API documentation tools;

-Experience with git and CI/CD;

-A solid understanding in logging, security concepts;

-A solid understanding of REST, and core JavaScript concepts;

-A solid understanding of relational data and/or non-relational models;

-Experience with performance and optimisation problems and a demonstrated ability to both diagnose and prevent these problems.
