Operating an off‑grid Energy Hub supplying a Data Center requires coordinated planning and control of photovoltaic (PV) generation, battery energy storage system (BESS), and Gas Turbine (GT) to ensure continuous, high‑quality power while minimizing operating cost.
Job Description
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years operating specifically as an Enterprise Architect, Solutions Architect, Principal Engineer, or similar architecture-focused role.
- Proven experience in architecting, designing, and overseeing the implementation of large-scale, complex AI / Data / Cloud platform programs involving multiple cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Strong understanding of modern SDLC methodologies (Agile, CI/CD, DevSecOps) and distributed system design principles.
- Hands-on experience with Azure/GCP cloud architecture, containerization, and API gateway-based microservice ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience in building on-prem based solutions which can work in isolated/air-gaped environments.
- Hands-on experience in building applications and services which are running on top of Kubernetes.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-vendor program governance, including delivery coordination, RACI ownership, and risk management.
- Deep understanding of data pipelines, ingestion frameworks, and AI/ML integration concepts.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to interface effectively with both engineering and executive audiences.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution abilities in complex delivery environments. Must have a track record of driving technical consensus on high-stakes architectural decisions.

- Architectural Design: Define the high-level solution architecture, service catalogs, and data flows between the Energy Management System, Power Plant Controller (PPC), and external AI forecasting services.
- Infrastructure Transition: Lead the technical roadmap for rebuilding the Optimization Engine and its native dependencies for Linux environments.
- Mission-Critical Reliability: Design for high-availability failover clustering and ensure the system can operate in air-gapped or intermittently connected environments using locally cached data.
- Integration Leadership: Define external integration interfaces using industry-standard protocols such as Modbus, IEC 61850, and DNP3.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Management to align the MVP roadmap with long-term visions for "Market-Adaptive" and "Workload-Aware" dispatching.
- Security & Compliance: Ensure the architecture meets stringent data center security requirements, including private network execution and automated observability
