We are a fast-growing international FinTech company providing payment solutions to businesses across multiple markets.

As the company continues its growth journey, we are looking for a COO / Head of Operations who will help transform the business into a highly structured, scalable, and performance-driven organization.

This role is ideal for a strong operational leader who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building systems from the ground up, and can drive operational excellence across multiple business functions.

Role Mission

Build and lead a scalable operational framework that enables sustainable business growth, improves execution discipline, strengthens cross-functional collaboration, and ensures operational excellence across the organization.

The COO will act as a key partner to the executive team, translating business strategy into efficient execution and measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize company-wide operational processes, workflows, and management systems.
• Design and implement scalable operational frameworks to support business growth.
• Establish clear ownership and accountability across departments.
• Develop and maintain operational KPIs, reporting structures, dashboards, and performance management systems.
• Drive operational excellence, automation initiatives, and continuous process improvement.
• Improve collaboration between Product, Business Development, Support, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and other business units.
• Ensure strategic initiatives have clear objectives, ownership, timelines, and measurable results.
• Build and maintain effective project and operational management practices across the organization.
• Introduce and optimize operational tools and methodologies (ClickUp, Jira, Asana, Monday.com, or similar).
• Identify operational bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and business risks and implement corrective actions.
• Lead organizational transformation initiatives and support company scaling efforts.
• Create management reporting and provide actionable recommendations to executive leadership.
• Partner closely with the CEO and leadership team on strategic planning, execution, and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in Operations, Business Management, General Management, or similar leadership functions.
• 3+ years of experience in a senior leadership role such as COO, Operations Director, Head of Operations, General Manager, or equivalent.
• Proven track record of building, optimizing, and scaling operational processes within growing organizations.
• Experience managing multiple business functions and cross-functional teams.
• Strong expertise in operational strategy, process design, performance management, and organizational development.
• Hands-on experience implementing KPI frameworks, reporting systems, and operational controls.
• Strong project management, prioritization, and execution capabilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Experience working within FinTech, Payments, SaaS, Technology, E-commerce, Marketplace, or other high-growth industries will be considered a strong advantage.
• Fluent English.

Success in the First 90 Days

• Operational reporting framework is fully established.
• Leadership and cross-functional operational meetings are running effectively.
• Key business processes are documented with assigned owners and accountability structures.
• Operational priorities and performance metrics are clearly defined across departments.
• Project management and execution tracking systems are implemented or optimized.
• Cross-functional collaboration and execution discipline are significantly improved.
• Critical operational bottlenecks are identified with action plans in place.
• Dependence on founder involvement in day-to-day operational management is reduced.
