Head of Compliance / Senior Compliance Officer
PayPilot is a rapidly growing fintech group managing innovative payment and cryptocurrency products across international markets. Our current ecosystem includes: B2C: Digital wallets, payment cards, and IBAN accounts for individuals, B2B: Wallets, corporate cards, and business IBAN solutions. PSP: A proprietary payment gateway, supporting local European payment methods and dedicated corridors (including India).
With 3+ licenses already secured, the group is aggressively expanding its product line, infrastructure, and geographical footprint. We are looking for an experienced compliance professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes end-to-end ownership, and wants to build a global fintech leader. This is a unique opportunity to join our core team at a critical growth stage and scale alongside the company.
We are open to two profiles for this position:
- An experienced Head of Compliance ready to lead hands-on, execute key tasks personally, and scale the department.
- A strong Senior Compliance Officer with high potential and the drive to quickly step up into a functional leadership role.
We need a practical expert who deeply understands high-risk PSP operations, banking and provider requirements, crypto flows, and knows how to find secure, compliant pathways to enable business growth. The role requires a "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude; while compliance frameworks are already in place, you will need to optimize them, increase execution speed, and build systematic team management.

- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with existing licenses, tracking deadlines, obligations, and necessary policy updates.
- Product Compliance (B2C & B2B): Enhance and scale core frameworks, including KYC/KYB, AML/CFT, sanctions screening, risk assessments, transaction monitoring, and escalation procedures.
- Partner Compliance Frameworks: Align on compliance distribution models with partners, setting merchant/client criteria, permissible fund flows, and data exchange processes.
- Partner Terms Control: Ensure company operations strictly align with banking/provider terms, market limitations, client categories, and transaction limits.
- Team Management: Allocate tasks, lead daily/weekly syncs, establish KPIs, manage performance via OKRs, and maintain high-quality delivery across the team.
- AI & Automation Integration: Leverage AI tools to speed up document analysis, reporting, and drafting responses while maintaining strict data confidentiality and verifying all outputs.
