Operating Partner - Digital Ventures
Location: Any location
Reporting to: CEO of the Investment Holding
About the role
We are looking for an entrepreneurial Operating Partner to lead the development of new digital ventures - from identifying and validating opportunities to launching MVPs, acquiring first customers, and scaling successful products.
The role combines product thinking, business development, and hands-on execution, with a strong focus on commercial impact and financial results. You will turn promising ideas into viable digital businesses, including AI solutions, SaaS products, digital services, and internal automation tools.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and assess digital business opportunities, validate customer needs, and develop business models.
- Lead discovery, define MVP scope, and choose the right approach: build, buy, partner, or integrate.
- Assemble and lead temporary product and technology teams, engaging internal experts and external contractors within approved budgets.
- Drive MVP development, go-to-market, and acquisition of first customers.
- Connect product and operational decisions to business outcomes: revenue potential, costs, margins, CAC, payback, and unit economics.
- Track product and commercial performance, including usage, revenue, CAC, and unit economics.
- Recommend whether to scale, transfer, spin off, pause, or stop initiatives.
- Work closely with the CEO, Investment Committee, COO, M&A/Venture team, and business owners.
What weβre looking for
- Entrepreneurial operator with experience launching digital, IT, SaaS, or AI products from scratch.
- Strong skills in customer discovery, product development, MVP delivery, and business validation.
- Experience building and leading cross-functional product and technology teams.
- A strong business and financial mindset: able to translate ideas and product metrics into revenue, profitability, costs, and investment decisions.
- Ability to work with analytics, business models, and unit economics.
- Comfortable operating autonomously, making decisions, and navigating uncertainty.
Experience in venture building, M&A, or post-merger integration is a plus.
First 90 days
- Review existing ideas and select 2β3 opportunities for discovery.
- Validate customer demand, define business models, and assemble teams for promising initiatives.
- Launch pilots and present evidence-based recommendations to continue, scale, pause, or stop each initiative.
