We are looking for a strategic, hands-on, and growth-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team and drive our next phase of international expansion and financial scaling.

Role Overview

As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will serve as a strategic business partner to the CEO and Board of Directors, taking full ownership of the company’s financial strategy, capital allocation, unit economics, regulatory finance, and investor relations.

You will lead a high-performing finance, accounting, and treasury function, ensuring robust financial controls while maintaining the agility needed for high-growth FinTech operations.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Financial Leadership & Scaling:
  • Shape and execute the company’s financial strategy, financial modeling, budgeting, and long-term business planning.
  • Optimize unit economics, profit margins, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), and Lifetime Value (LTV) across product lines.
  • Drive cost optimization, operational efficiency, and financial forecasting to support sustainable growth.
• Treasury, Safeguarding & Banking Relationships:
  • Oversee treasury management, FX operations, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
  • Ensure strict compliance with EMI/PI regulatory safeguarding requirements (segregation of client funds, liquidity buffers).
  • Manage and expand relationships with partner banks, liquidity providers, clearing networks, and payment processors.
• Regulatory Financial Control & Compliance:
  • Supervise financial accounting, managerial reporting, and regulatory submissions to the Bank of Lithuania / EU regulators.
  • Lead annual audit processes, maintain tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions, and oversee financial risk management.
• Fundraising, M&A & Investor Relations:
  • Lead strategic capital raising (equity/debt), pitch preparation, and investor communications.
  • Evaluate M&A opportunities, strategic partnerships, and international market expansion strategies.
     

Candidate Profile & Requirements

• Experience:
  • Proven track record as a CFO, VP of Finance, or Finance Director within a high-growth FinTech, EMI, Payment Institution, or Neo-bank.
• FinTech & Regulatory Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of EMI/PI regulatory environments, safeguarding rules, multi-currency treasury, and cross-border payment flows.
• Commercial & Data-Driven Mindset:
  • Excellent grasp of FinTech business models, SaaS/Payments metrics, and advanced financial forecasting.
• Leadership & Strategic Vision:
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead finance teams in an agile, fast-paced tech environment.
• Languages:
  • Fluency in English (Lithuanian is a strong advantage).
