The ideal candidate is strong managing content generation, a capable video editor, and an organized project manager who can take an idea from initial concept through production, publication, distribution, and performance analysis.
The person in this role will work with company leadership, clients, subject-matter experts, and outside contributors to build professional content programs across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, websites, email, and podcast platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Help create and maintain social media strategies and content calendars for the agency and its clients.
- Draft, edit, schedule, and publish posts across multiple social media channels.
- Adapt long-form content into platform-specific posts, short videos, clips, graphics, and promotional materials.
- Monitor comments, messages, mentions, and engagement opportunities.
- Help maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms.
- Track performance and prepare clear reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Stay informed about platform changes, content trends, and emerging formats.
Written Content
- Write and edit social posts, captions, articles, newsletters, video scripts, podcast descriptions, promotional emails, and website copy.
- Work with executives, clients, and subject-matter experts and help turn their ideas into polished content.
- Repurpose articles, interviews, presentations, podcasts, and videos into multiple pieces of content.
- Perform basic research and fact-checking, particularly for professional-services and business audiences.
- Use AI-assisted writing and research tools responsibly while maintaining accuracy, judgment, and a natural human voice.
Video Production and Editing
- Help plan, record, edit, and publish both short-form and long-form video.
- Edit interviews, educational videos, social clips, webinars, demonstrations, and promotional content.
- Add captions, titles, graphics, music, transitions, branding, and calls to action.
- Convert long-form recordings into platform-ready short clips.
- Help organize and maintain a searchable video and media library.
- Support both remote and occasional in-person video-production workflows.
Podcast Production
- Assist with podcast planning, guest coordination, recording, editing, publishing, and promotion.
- Use tools such as Riverside to record remote interviews and produce audio and video podcast content.
- Prepare episode descriptions, promotional posts, clips, show notes, and supporting content.
- Distribute podcast content across relevant audio, video, social, and website channels.
Marketing Technology and Workflow Management
- Use social media management platforms such as Hootsuite or comparable tools to schedule, monitor, and report on content.
- Work with CRM and marketing platforms such as EngageBay, HubSpot, or similar systems.
- Use platforms such as Vimeo and Vidyard to organize, host, distribute, and track video content.
- Help create and improve repeatable workflows for content intake, approvals, production, publishing, and reporting.
- Maintain orderly project files, naming conventions, calendars, and approval records.
- Coordinate deadlines and deliverables across multiple brands and client accounts.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing social media accounts for a company, agency, professional brand, or client portfolio.
- Strong editing and storytelling skills.
- Practical experience creating and editing short-form and long-form video.
- Working knowledge of tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable editing software.
- Experience with social scheduling and management platforms such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar tools.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, brands, and approval processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Sound judgment regarding tone, accuracy, confidentiality, and professional communications.
- Ability to work independently while communicating clearly with colleagues and clients.
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with Vimeo, Vidyard, Riverside, YouTube Studio, and podcast-distribution platforms.
- Knowledge of LinkedIn content strategy and executive thought leadership.
- Experience creating content for financial services, technology, professional services, legal, mortgage, real estate, or business-to-business audiences.
- Familiarity with WordPress, landing pages, email campaigns, analytics, and lead-generation workflows.
- Basic graphic-design experience using Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
- Experience working in an agency environment or managing multiple client accounts.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted content-production tools and responsible editorial review.
What Success Looks Like
The successful candidate will:
- Keep a reliable and well-organized publishing calendar.
- Produce polished content that requires minimal correction.
- Turn a single interview, podcast, or video recording into multiple useful content assets.
- Improve publishing consistency, audience engagement, and content quality.
- Create dependable processes for reviewing, approving, publishing, and tracking content.
