The Role
We're hiring a Backend Developer to help build the infrastructure behind our AI automation platform. You'll take ownership of the server-side systems running at scale — handling concurrent sessions, coordinating background processing, wiring LLMs into production workflows, and keeping everything resilient under load.
This is a hands-on role with genuine architectural input. You'll work closely with the founders and have direct visibility into how the product evolves.
 

What You'll Build

• AI SDR agents that run outreach, qualify leads, and progress them through the pipeline autonomously
• Browser automation layers letting agents interact with web platforms — session handling, action execution, anti-detection logic at scale
• LLM integrations (Claude API) powering message classification, context-aware replies, and simultaneous conversation management across hundreds of threads
• A job orchestration layer — queues, workers, concurrency control — that keeps the whole system reliable
• Core data models and internal APIs that other services depend on
• Integrations with CRMs, calendar tools, messaging platforms, and alerting systems
• Internal agents that handle repetitive customer-facing tasks and escalate to humans only when necessary
   

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of commercial backend development experience
• Solid grasp of system design fundamentals — queues, background jobs, concurrency, failure recovery
• Strong hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar), including schema design and query optimization
• Track record shipping and maintaining production APIs/services
• Ability to quickly integrate third-party APIs, even with sparse documentation
• Structured, systems-level thinking — you understand how the pieces fit together
• Real interest in AI tooling and a habit of experimenting with what's new
   

Nice to Have

• Playwright, Puppeteer, or similar browser automation experience
• Knowledge of anti-detect browsers or fingerprinting techniques
• Hands-on work with LLM APIs (Claude, OpenAI, etc.)
• Understanding of bot detection and evasion strategies
• Redis / BullMQ or similar queueing systems
• Docker, CI/CD, some infrastructure ownership
   

What Matters Most
Skills aside, we want someone who ramps up quickly, takes initiative without waiting to be asked, and actually enjoys working where AI meets automation. Exact prior experience isn't required — but you should be the type who wants to fully understand a complex system, not just the part you're assigned.
