SMM Manager
ROIcamp is a media buying team that works exclusively with the dating vertical. The parent company has been building and monetizing dating products since 2011; the team is 40+ people and fully remote. We buy traffic on Meta, Google, TikTok, push and native placements, and we measure ourselves on paying users rather than on leads.
About the role
The traffic industry talks on Telegram: that is where people read breakdowns, look for work, and check who can be trusted. LinkedIn is the second stage, the one partners and advertisers watch. ROIcamp has worked the dating vertical since 2011, and the team has accumulated cases, numbers, and hard-won lessons worth reading, yet nobody tells them systematically.
You become the team's voice in the niche, building a reputation measurable in job applications and inbound requests rather than simply running the pages. You report to the Head of Media Buying, who runs our media buying operation, meaning the purchase of paid traffic on ad platforms, and you work closely with the recruiter and the Creative Producer.
What you'll do
- Build and run the ROIcamp Telegram channel: rubrics, a content plan, and a steady cadence with no filler.
- Pull substance out of the team through buyer interviews, analyst numbers, and stories from the farm department, the team that prepares and maintains advertising accounts, then package it into posts people finish reading.
- Own LinkedIn: the company page, employer brand, and content aimed at partners and advertisers.
- Distribute without spam through deals with niche channels, cross-posts, and community participation on each community's own terms.
- Promote open roles by reshaping them into social formats and delivering applications you can trace through UTM.
- Track our presence across engagement, clicks, and brand mentions, and summarize it in a monthly snapshot with conclusions.
- Commission visuals from the creative department by setting the task for a designer.
Requirements
- At least 1.5 years in SMM, including at least one channel you grew yourself, with before and after numbers.
- Telegram as a working instrument: you understand formats, reposts, and the mechanics of channel growth.
- Strong writing: a post should sound like a person wrote it, never like a press release.
- An ear for the tone of the niche, where readers recognize corporate polish immediately.
Nice to have
- English at B1 or above for LinkedIn content.
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing, meaning traffic driven to partner offers for a share of the revenue, or experience in an adjacent niche.
- Light editing or graphics skills for quick-turnaround posts.
What we offer
- Source material most SMM specialists wait years to reach: real cases from a traffic team with its own buying, farm, and analytics departments.
- Freedom of format, since rubrics, tone, and experiments are yours and we align on strategy rather than on individual posts.
- A direct line to the Head of Media Buying and the team, with no approval chain in between.
- Fully remote work in an asynchronous rhythm, where the content plan counts rather than your online status.
- A measurable outcome: you see exactly how many applications and requests your channels delivered.
Growth path
The track runs from SMM Manager to owner of all ROIcamp content distribution across social, blog, and newsletters. From there the path forks toward B2B marketing, where the link with the Marketing Manager already exists, or toward leading the brand direction. Growth is proven by channel metrics rather than by slide decks.
Compensation
The base salary is $700โ1,200, reviewed against channel momentum. Payouts are made on a fixed date each month.
Hiring process
A 30-minute screening call, a review of your channel-growth cases, and a test assignment consisting of a one-week Telegram content plan with three written posts, followed by an offer. The full process takes up to 7 business days.
