AI-First Developer (Vibe Coding, Low-Code, Integrations)

We are looking for an AI-first developer who already uses AI coding tools every day to ship production work, not experiments.
 

About the project

The client is a US non-profit that runs independent industry self-regulation and dispute resolution programs. Their platforms carry case intake and review, arbitration workflows, published decisions and a public archive, plus certification programs that businesses apply to. It is a small internal IT team, so what you build gets used straight away.

They are moving away from traditional development. Most delivery now happens on a low-code platform and through AI-assisted builds. The environment runs on AWS, with SQL Server behind the business systems, a CMS for the public site, and integrations between marketing, finance and identity tools. A legacy .NET estate is still in service and needs care.

Your work will be a mix of new internal tools that remove manual work, integrations between business systems, and keeping the existing applications healthy. Less writing code from scratch, more connecting what is already there.
 

Requirements

• 4+ years building and shipping software in a business environment
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools to deliver production work
• Strong SQL: queries, stored procedures, schema changes, basic performance work
• Real REST API integration experience: vendor docs, authentication, mapping data between systems
• Able to own a task end to end with light supervision
• English B2 or better, comfortable on calls and writing clear written updates
• At least 4 hours of daily overlap with 9:00am-5:00pm US Eastern time

• AI coding tools: Claude, Cursor
• SQL Server and T-SQL
• REST API integrations
• AWS
• Git and GitHub
• Python
• Enough .NET / C# to read and safely change existing code
• CMS administration and customization

• A low-code or BPM platform: Decisions, Power Platform, Mendix, OutSystems, n8n, Make
• Kentico CMS
• HubSpot API
• Sage Intacct
• Auth0
• Google Analytics
• Experience working with US clients
   

Responsibilities

• Take a business requirement and choose the fastest safe way to deliver it
• Build internal tools that remove manual work
• Write SQL and build API integrations between business systems
• Make fixes and improvements in the CMS
• Turn a style guide and a set of requirements into working wireframes
• Document what you build so someone else can pick it up
• Work through tickets and keep status visible
