Middle PHP Developer Offline
SoftHouseGroup is looking for an experienced PHP Software Engineer to extend our team and work in the Insurance domain. You can be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of ongoing software development.
The project is a large and complex system with extensive business logic and numerous interdependencies. It consists of multiple internal modules and integrates with a wide range of third-party services and payment providers. A significant part of the solution was developed by the SoftHouse team from scratch, covering the full process from initial concept and architecture to implementation.
Team in Ukraine: 50+ people. 20+ Software Engineers, 10+ QA Manual and Automation Engineers, BA, Technical Writers, UX/UI.
Required skills:
• At least 4 years of experience in PHP development;
• Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or Yii2;
• Great knowledge of OOP and Design Patterns;
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools
• Experience with MySQL;
• Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js);
• Understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git;
• Good knowledge of the full development cycle;
• Deep knowledge of REST API;
• English level — Pre-Intermediate (reading, no speaking);
• A high level of self-organization, desire and ability to work in a team;
• Good communication skills and desire to master development skills.
Will be a plus:
• Experience with Vue.js;
• Experience in Billing, financial, banking, or insurance systems/domains.
Daily responsibilities:
• New modules development;
• Support of existing modules;
• Bug fixing;
• Using AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, debugging, and solving technical tasks;
• Reviewing and validating code generated with AI to ensure code quality, security, maintainability, and compliance with project standards;
• Participation in daily meetings;
• Close collaboration with the product development team for estimation and delivery of features.
