Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for the core logic of our platform, focusing on speed, scalability, and stability.

• Core Development: Design and maintain high-load services and platform modules using PHP 8 and Laravel.
• Architecture & Quality: Write reliable, well-tested code. Participate in architectural decision-making and ensure technical stability.
• Feature Ownership: Take full ownership of your features from coding to release. You will deploy to the dev environment and perform sanity checks to ensure functionality before handing tasks over to our dedicated QA team for deep testing.
• Performance: Optimize database queries, implement caching strategies, and manage async processes/queues.
• Integrations: Build complex integrations with external services (payment providers, game aggregators, analytics) via REST and WebSockets.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date technical documentation for APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI), services, and architectural decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the DevOps team to optimize delivery pipelines and work alongside Product & Analytics teams to implement scalable data processing solutions.

• Testing: Create automated tests (unit, integration, feature) to ensure the quality and stability of your code.

   

What we expect from you:

• Experience: 4+ years of commercial experience as a PHP Backend Developer.
• Framework Expertise: Deep understanding of Laravel and its ecosystem.
• Database Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL), query optimization, and working with large volumes of transactional/analytical data.
• API & Protocols: Experience with HTTP, REST, WebSockets, and complex API integrations.
• Async & Queues: Experience with message brokers (SQS, RabbitMQ, or similar).
• Infrastructure: Practical experience with Docker and Linux environment.

• Observability: Familiarity with logging, metrics, and tracing (Sentry, NewRelic, DataDog, ELK, etc.).

• AI-Assisted Workflow: Experience with AI coding tools. We welcome a smart approach to AI to streamline complex tasks, from architectural design to documentation, development, and code refactoring.
• Leadership Experience: Experience in a technical leadership role (Tech/Team Lead, Mentor, Buddy) — sharing knowledge and guiding less experienced team members.
• Tech Breadth: Experience with Golang, Node.js, DDD (Domain-Driven Design).

• Analytics: Experience with analytical databases like ClickHouse.
