Chief Operating Officer (COO) — Relocation to Dubai

UAPP.AI is a product company building AI-powered mobile applications used by over 10 million people in 150 countries. The full product cycle is handled in-house. We work in a fast-paced environment: decisions are made quickly and based on data, with minimal bureaucracy and approval chains.

The Role

We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to take ownership of the company's day-to-day operations and execute the CEO's strategy — translating goals and plans into processes, tasks, deadlines and measurable results. The role works in direct partnership with the CEO.

Work Format & Relocation

Dubai, UAE, office-based. The first month (trial period) is fully remote. After it — relocation with visa sponsorship, flight tickets and initial housing covered by the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operational management of the company
• Maintaining the company's established processes: planning, reporting, areas of ownership
• Managing the team through team leads: product, development, marketing, design, support
• Executing the CEO's strategy: breaking down goals into tasks, deadlines and metrics
• Coordinating product releases: keeping deadlines, syncing teams, removing cross-team dependencies
• Regular reporting to the CEO on operational and product performance
• Overseeing product and operational metrics, unit economics and budgets
• Identifying and eliminating bottlenecks — first and foremost where the company loses time and money

Requirements

• 3+ years as COO / Head of Operations / Operations Director
• Must have: experience in a product company — mobile apps, SaaS, digital products, e-commerce, adtech. Candidates with an exclusively outsourcing or agency background will not be considered
• Experience managing a team of 30+ people, including working through team leads
• Experience running established operational processes: maintaining execution discipline and making targeted improvements
• Experience coordinating product releases and working with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with rapidly shifting priorities
• English B2+; fluent Ukrainian or Russian
• Willingness to relocate to Dubai after the trial period
