Interactive Systems Developer

About the Project:
A leader in creating and managing large-scale, immersive art and cultural exhibitions worldwide.
The developer will create and evolve interactive components inside these exhibitions, such as: touchscreen kiosks, interactive games, mobile experiences, AR experiences, VR-adjacent interactives, camera/sensor-based installations, RFID/NFC solutions, backend services, and administration tools. These are not SaaS products. The interactive systems are generally custom-built for a specific exhibition and travel together with that exhibition.
Responsibilities:
- Build interactive touchscreen, kiosk, and visitor-facing experiences.
- Develop camera-, sensor-, RFID/NFC-, QR-, mobile-, and AR-based interactive systems.
- Build backend APIs, databases, dashboards, and admin tools supporting installations.
- Prototype new interaction technologies and turn successful concepts into production-ready products.
- Deploy and troubleshoot interactive systems at exhibition locations worldwide.
- Maintain and adapt installations as exhibitions move between locations.
- Define technical architecture and development standards.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of commercial experience with C# and Unity.
- Solid hands-on backend development experience with any technology stack.
- Commercial experience building interactive systems, kiosks, or other visitor-facing applications.
- Comfortable working across software, hardware/devices, and physical deployments.
- Ability to travel internationally when required, approximately 1โ2 times per quarter.
- English: Upper-Intermediate or higher.
