Technical Architect – WMS

The Technical Architect role is responsible for the implementation of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management and requires strong knowledge of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management. The role includes independently handling implementation activities and providing solutions to technical and functional issues. The associate should have strong product knowledge in at least any three of the areas below.

Description
The Technical Architect should have good knowledge of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management, hands-on experience with installing and configuring the product, and a solid understanding of interactions across the various modules.

Responsibilities and requirements include:

• Implementation experience on Blue Yonder Warehouse Management, with at least one or two full-cycle implementation projects.
• Previous experience with cloud technologies is preferred, together with familiarity with basic network terminology.
• Experience in reviewing integration designs and suggesting best practices.
• Ability to act as a liaison between Consulting, Support and Cloud Services to ensure smooth and efficient implementation and integration between technical and functional system requirements during the onboarding of new customers, upgrades or patch updates.
• Strong knowledge of SQL Server concepts and administration is mandatory.
• Ability to review an existing application setup and perform an assessment of its suitability for upgrade.
• Understanding of how Blue Yonder solutions can be configured to better facilitate client business processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of any defect management tool would be an advantage.
• Ability to ensure quantity and quality of content in the Knowledge Base.
• Ability to effectively drive a knowledge transfer and transition plan.
• Knowledge of incident, problem and change management processes would be an advantage.
• Responsibility for incident resolution for a specific set of customers within the specified POD / product / project.
• Adherence to priority-based management based on impact and urgency.
• Driving Service Improvement Plans and ensuring the Incident Management process is performed as designed.
