Middle Project Manager

The Defense Procurement Agency (DOT) is a national agency responsible for procuring ammunition, UAVs, military equipment, fuel, food, clothing, and other critical supplies for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Defense Forces.

We are looking for a Project Manager to manage IT projects from planning and requirements definition through implementation, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure projects are delivered according to agreed objectives, scope, timelines, and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans, including project objectives, scope of work, timelines, and stakeholder expectations.
• Define project milestones and develop detailed schedules with clear deadlines for each stage of the project.
• Assess the resources required to achieve project objectives, including timelines, budget, equipment, and human resources.
• Manage communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, project teams, and management.
• Coordinate the work of cross-functional project teams, assign tasks, and monitor their execution.
• Manage project requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog.
• Work with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and analysts.
• Manage stakeholder and client expectations and present project results and proposed solutions.
• Prepare and/or validate technical specifications, instructions, and regulations for IT systems.
• Analyze the effectiveness of IT systems and develop recommendations to improve their performance and efficiency.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or Project Manager in projects with complex business logic.
• Experience working on projects for B2G, B2B, and/or product development.
• Understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with Agile / Scrum or hybrid methodologies (Agile + Waterfall).
• Strong skills in requirements gathering and management, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
• Experience working with Jira, ClickUp, Figma, or similar tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, QA engineers, and analysts.
• Ability to manage stakeholder expectations and present project results and solutions.
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles.
