Chief Marketing Officer

Our client runs a top-20 global gaming hosting product and is now launching a second, standalone B2C product — managed WordPress & AI-tools hosting.

Tech, payments, and legal structure are ready; the product needs its first marketing hire to build acquisition from scratch.

Main Responsibilities

• Own traffic acquisition end-to-end: launch and run SEO and/or PPC as a hands-on practitioner
• Set channel/market priorities, own and allocate a monthly budget in the $50–100K range
• Build and hire a small marketing team (starting ~5 people, with access to 20+ marketers company-wide)
• Set up analytics and unit economics (CAC, LTV, payback, contribution margin)
• Run a continuous testing process (A/B tests, hypothesis-driven growth)

Mandatory Requirements

• 3+ years hands-on, practitioner-level expertise in SEO or PPC
• Experience managing a team of 5+ people, including hiring and development
• Proven experience managing budgets of $50K+/month
• Solid grasp of unit economics and A/B testing methodology
• Strong analytical, energetic, results-first mindset — decisions driven by data, not activity volume
• High autonomy: comfortable operating with ambiguity and owning outcomes

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in hosting, SaaS, or subscription/B2C products (strong plus)
• Multi-channel expertise (SEO + PPC) rather than single-channel
• Tier-1 market experience (US, UK, Germany)
